What does 28 days of ReVive actually look like? 🌿

Not a perfect month.
Not an expectation to get everything right.
ReVive with Viv is about practising repeatable actions across 28 days, with guidance from Vivienne Derwent.

The focus stays practical:
🥗 Food
🏃 Movement
🌿 Wellbeing

Rather than trying to overhaul everything at once, the 28-day format gives you time to keep coming back to the actions you are practising.
Some days will naturally feel easier than others. The aim is not perfection. It is to keep working with the program and the guidance provided across the four weeks.
If you’ve been wondering what ReVive is about, think structure, guidance and repeatable everyday actions.
Save this for later, or share it with someone who may be interested in learning more.

GLP-1s: Let’s Separate the Myths from the Facts 🌿

There is a lot of conversation around GLP-1 medicines at the moment, and with that can come assumptions, judgement and plenty of mixed messages.

A few things are worth remembering:
Using a GLP-1 is not simply “taking the easy way out.” These medicines can be appropriate treatments for eligible people and require medical assessment, prescription and monitoring.
And medication does not make the basics irrelevant.

Nutrition, movement and ongoing clinical care still matter. In particular, adequate nourishment and resistance exercise are important considerations because lean mass can be lost alongside body fat during weight loss.

It is also worth thinking beyond the immediate result. Weight regain can occur after stopping GLP-1 treatment, which is why sustainable habits and a longer-term maintenance plan matter too.

There is no need for shame or judgement around someone’s health pathway.

The goal should always be informed decisions, appropriate professional support and looking after health for the long term.
Swipe through for three common GLP-1 myths and the facts behind them.

Save this post if you’d like to come back to it, or share it with someone who may find a calmer perspective helpful. 🌿

General education only. This is not individual medical advice. GLP-1 medicines require medical assessment, prescription and monitoring.

Do not start, stop or change prescription medication without speaking with your prescriber.

Busy morning? Keep breakfast simple. 🌿

You don’t need an elaborate recipe to put a balanced breakfast together.

Try pairing two or three easy foods you already enjoy:
🥣 Yoghurt + fruit + nuts
🍳 Wholegrain toast + eggs
🥄 Overnight oats

Simple combinations can make breakfast much easier when there isn’t much time to cook.

The idea is not to make your morning more complicated. Choose something practical that works with the time you actually have.

Which one would you choose on a busy morning?

Save this for the next morning when you’re wondering what to eat, or share it with someone who is always rushing out the door. 😊

Spring produce has a lovely way of making meals feel fresh again, without needing to reinvent everything you eat.
Rather than filling your trolley with vegetables you hope you’ll use, try something simpler this weekend:
Choose one seasonal fruit or vegetable and decide how you’re actually going to enjoy it.
Maybe it’s:
🌿 asparagus added to eggs or a simple pasta
🍓 strawberries with yoghurt or breakfast
🥬 leafy greens tossed through lunch or dinner
🫛 broad beans added to a salad or side dish
Nothing elaborate. Just one ingredient you’re genuinely looking forward to eating.
Sometimes healthy eating becomes much easier when the question changes from:
“What should I be eating?”
to:
“What fresh food would I actually enjoy using this week?”
What spring produce are you happiest to see back?
Save this for your next shop, or send it to the person you’ll be cooking with this weekend. 🌿

Hunger does not always arrive suddenly.

It can build gradually and may show up as:

• low energy
• difficulty concentrating
• irritability
• feeling increasingly preoccupied with food

These signs are information, not something to judge.

Regular meals and snacks can make it easier to respond to hunger before it becomes intense.

Save this as a gentle reminder to check in with yourself during the day.

Before the week ends, take a moment to notice one choice that supported your health.

Maybe you:

• packed your lunch
• walked after work
• went to bed earlier
• prepared something nourishing
• made time to rest

Small wins matter because routines are built through actions that can be repeated.

What is one health-supporting choice you made this week?

Strength training is not only about lifting heavy weights.

It supports your muscles, bones and the everyday movements that help you stay active and independent.

You can begin with:

• bodyweight movements
• resistance bands
• light weights

Choose a level that suits your current ability and focus on movements you can perform safely and consistently. Seek guidance from a qualified professional when you are unsure where to begin.

Save this as a reminder that strength can start simply.

A warm bowl of soup can be simple, comforting and easy to adapt.

To make yours more satisfying, try adding:

• lentils or beans
• chicken or tofu
• wholegrains
• extra vegetables

These additions can bring more substance, texture and variety to a familiar winter meal.

What is your favourite soup combination?

Share it below so others can try it too.

Are you using a GLP-1, considering one, or simply wondering what your options are?

I’ll be at the Richmond Wellness & Lifestyle Expo this Sunday, and this is one of the conversations I’ll be very happy to have.

There is so much discussion around GLP-1 medications at the moment, but weight management is about more than watching the number on the scales.

It is also important to think about the things you want to support along the way, including good nutrition, muscle, strength, movement and your long-term health.

Come and have a chat with me about practical ways to look after yourself, whether you are currently using a GLP-1, considering one with your healthcare team, or simply interested in a more food-first approach.

I’ll also be launching something new on Sunday:

🌿 The 7-Day ReVive Starter

It’s a simple introduction to the ReVive approach, with a focus on practical nutrition, enjoyable movement and habits that can work in real life.

📅 Sunday 20 September 2026
⏰ 10:00 am – 3:30 pm
📍 Richmond Town Hall, 333 Bridge Road, Richmond
🎟️ Free entry

Come and say hello, bring your questions and enjoy everything the Expo has to offer. I’d love to see you there. 💚

Fibre does not need to make healthy eating feel complicated.

Everyday foods such as oats, legumes, fruit, vegetables, nuts and wholegrains can all contribute to your fibre intake.

When adding more fibre, increase it gradually and remember to drink enough fluid as your intake changes.

A simple place to begin is by adding one fibre-rich food to a meal you already enjoy.

Save this as a practical reminder for your next grocery shop.
