Geomancing the Stone Geomancing the Stone is a Holistic Energy Service that uses Earth Magic to provide Geomancy Readings, Medicine Rattle & Drum Making Workshops.

Geomancy Readings are done on this beautiful Medicine Wheel Cloth. These are intriguing readings are offered online through Zoom. I make my own Drum Hoops to infuse them with healing energy as part of the process of the Shamanic Drum Workshops I offer. I also make Rattles with love sewn into every stitch, offering a Workshop for you to make your own Spiritual Tools of either Rattle or Drum. I have been doing Healings using Reiki and other methods for over 34 years and do traditional Geomancy - by dowsing and clearing geopathic stressors from homes - onsite and using distance healing through Reiki II and Crystal Gridding. Sometimes we know exactly what the problem is. Other times, we just have that feeling that something isn’t quite right.

Speak to the wind – Let it carry your pain.

There are times when everything feels like too much. Your mind is busy, your thoughts won’t settle and you’re carrying things you don’t quite know what to do with.

When I feel like this, one of the simplest things I can do is step outside and speak to the Air.

The Wind listens when you don’t have the right words. Say what’s heavy. Say what you’re worried about, angry about or frightened of. You don’t need to make sense of it or find an answer. Just let the words leave you and disappear into the breeze.
There is something quite powerful about giving voice to what we’ve been carrying silently.

For me, working with the Elements isn’t about complicated ritual. Sometimes it can be as simple as standing outside, feeling the Wind against your skin and allowing yourself to let something go.

Perhaps today, if there’s something weighing heavily on you, step outside and speak it into the Wind.

You might be surprised by how different it feels once it’s no longer being held only inside you.

The Drum Holds More Than Sound.

Before any of my drums are made, the work begins with reverence. Each skin is smudged with sage, lavender, rosemary or mugwort, plants gathered from my garden.

The skins then soak overnight beneath my peach tree, allowing the water and earth to prepare them for the circle they are about to become.

The frame itself is shaped by my own hands. As I bend the wood, I dream the drum into being.

Each part, the animal, the plant, the tree, the maker, all enter into a quiet ceremony before a single beat is ever struck.

For me, this is why a drum holds so much more than sound. It carries the story of how it came into being.

Have you ever reached a point where you know something needs to shift, but you can’t quite see what your next step should be?

Perhaps you’re going around in circles with a decision. Something in your work or relationships doesn’t feel quite right. You have several possibilities in front of you, or perhaps you simply have that persistent feeling that there is something you’re not seeing.

These are often the times people come to me for a Geomancy Reading.
When I cast my stones across the Medicine Wheel, we look at the patterns that emerge and bring your questions, circumstances and choices into that landscape.
I’m not going to tell you what to do or make your decisions for you. That has never been what Geomancy is about for me.

Instead, a reading can offer another way of seeing what is happening in your life. Sometimes it confirms what you already knew deep down. Sometimes it reveals a connection you hadn’t noticed. And sometimes it opens up an entirely different possibility.

You still choose the path.
But it can be much easier to choose when you can see more of the landscape.

A few weeks ago, while I was working in my garden, I felt an insect on the back of my neck.

My immediate reaction was to hit it. And then I realised I had killed a bee... I felt such remorse.

Bees are such precious little beings, and with everything our bee populations are facing, including the arrival of Varroa mite in Australia, losing even one somehow felt significant to me.

But something else happened that really surprised me.

For as long as I can remember, I have reacted strongly to bee stings. Usually I can feel the histamine response almost immediately, particularly in my eyes, followed by a deep itch around the sting that can take days to disappear.

This time there was a little localised pain and then nothing. No familiar reaction. No days of itching.

After 64 years of knowing how my body normally responds to a bee sting, I noticed the difference.

I've been spending time using PEMF and TeraHertz frequency technology recently, supporting my body in a completely different way.

I can't say that this is why my response was different, one experience certainly doesn't prove that, but I can't help wondering whether something in my body's response has changed.

And then there was the Bee herself.

In metaphysical traditions, Bee medicine speaks of community, cooperation, purposeful work, abundance and the extraordinary things that can happen when many small individual actions work together for the whole.

Perhaps that was the greater message for me that day. My Wild Wealth Community certainly comes to mind.

I know One Tiny Bee Matters.

And collectively, what happens to our bees matters enormously.
I am sorry that my instinctive reaction took her life. But she certainly made me stop, notice and think.

Perhaps sometimes medicine arrives on very small wings. She wanted me to notice the sweetness of my life's progress at the moment.

I had the BEST time at the Sydney MindBodySpirit Festival!

Thank you to everyone who came by to say hello, had a Geomancy Reading, explored Odin’s Magical Oracle, asked questions, shared stories or simply stopped for a chat. One of the things I love most about these events is meeting people face to face and having those wonderful conversations that just seem to happen.

And now I get to do it all over again!

In just four weeks, Geomancing the Stone will be heading to the Melbourne MindBodySpirit Festival from 13–15 November.

I’ll be bringing Geomancy, Odin’s Magical Oracle, runes, drums, Medicine Rattles and plenty more with me, and I’ll also be offering Geomancy Readings during the festival.

So Melbourne, if you’ve been following me from afar and we’ve never had the chance to meet in person, this one is for you.

Nice to leave Sydney, after a lap around Botany Bay on a water ferry.

Every now and then, I like to remind people why I created Odin’s Magical Oracle, because the story behind it is just as important to me as the Oracle itself.

It began in 1987. A friend handed me a set of Ralph Blum’s runes, and I felt something stir like a distant memory. It wasn’t just the symbols that moved me. It was the wisdom beneath them.

These weren’t just markings on stone. They were invitations. Layers upon layers of meaning that are not JUST to be memorised, but to be felt. They didn’t tell me what to believe. They seemed to ask me to remember who I am.

Over time, I came to realise that what I was feeling was Odin’s voice, not as a god of war, but as the Seeker of Wisdom, the one who gave his eye to the Well and hung from the World Tree for nine days... just to know more.

Odin believed in the potential of humanity. And I believe we need his teachings now more than ever.
