One of my top love languages is quality time, and lately I've been more focused on this than ever.
The older we get, the faster time seems to whizz by, and it becomes more obvious that time is precious, and the most valuable gift we can offer our loved ones.
I have started 'Nana' days with my grandchildren. This is where I take one of them out for afew hours of fun.
Animals, parks, art gallery, icecream .... wherever they'd like to go.
OMG it is simply divine, watching their little faces so lit up with excitement & feeling their joy. Their little minds are so curious, so I'm asked lots of questions about nature & about life. I love teaching them & also being creative with them & a little bit silly.
And in the past 5 days, I realise I've had 3 sleepovers haha.
Life gets so busy & I've decided to start booking in sleepovers at my daughters' houses, and at Mum & Dave's.
It's so fun!
I've been bike riding with my grandbabies, watching them decorate their Xmas tree wassy to early, sleeping on couches, chats with my kids, crocheting with Ella & Mum, op shopping & all sorts.
So many people wait until they find the time, but time is something we make when what we want is important to us, & time waits for none.
Making memories 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 & soaking up all the joy every day.
