+ WHY WE EXERCISE +
Yesterday I had the privilege once again to run a kids fitness class at my sons kindergarten.
We ran away from “ghosts”, jumped like “frogs”, flew like Superman, balanced like an airplane, danced and even did some boxing (class Favourite).
At the start of our session I asked them why they think it’s important to move their bodies…
And I think it’s an important reminder for us adults who are faced with all this conflicting advice, overload of information and pressure that in the simplest way…
Exercise and moving our bodies regularly is important because it 👇
💪 Helps us to feel strong
💪 Good for our bones and heart
💪 Helps us to go super fast
💪 Gives us energy
💪 Makes us feel better
And it definitely should be fun!!
So my advice if you’ve been feeling stuck with your fitness routine or you aren’t enjoying moving your body or can’t figure out how to move your body…
Go play with your kids or think back to how you used to move your body as a kid and DO THAT 😊
What was your favourite way to move as a child? 👇👇
In the past year I taught myself how to do the monkey bars again and will swing off them everytime I go to a playground now 😝
