Omnia Community Health We are a not-for-profit, values-based organisation, established in 2026 through the merger of Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health and Nexus Primary Health.

We cover the Hume, Macedon Ranges, Mitchell, Murrindindi and Strathbogie local government areas. Omnia Community Health is a not-for-profit community health organisation, providing a range of services in the Hume, Macedon Ranges, Mitchell, Murrindindi and Strathbogie local government areas. We care about the health of our community as an entire population. We are concerned not just about ill-health and treatment of disease, but about the factors that actually predict whether someone is healthy, like strong families, social cohesion and mental health, as well as the prevalence of risks such as obesity, tobacco, alcohol and drug use, family violence, problem gambling, and vulnerabilities that come from low incomes or ageing. This Occupational Therapy Week we acknowledge the work of our OTs and the difference they make to the lives of people across the lifespan.

'Participation Matters'

OTs help people participate in the activities, roles and relationships that matter most to them. Some examples include:

- Enabling a child to engage in school and play
- Helping a person with disability access their community
- Supporting someone to return to work after illness or injury
- Assisting older adults to remain active and safe in their own homes
