This month we’re shining the spotlight on the one and only Danny!

As our Compliance & Quality Manager, Danny plays a huge role behind the scenes at The Ability Collective. From compliance and risk management to supporting our staff and keeping everyday systems running smoothly, Danny helps make sure our participants receive safe, person-centred support, and that our team feel confident and supported along the way.

Danny started his journey 12 years ago in England, after a friend encouraged him to give support work a go. He began in child safety before moving to Australia, where he worked across disability and mental health services. Over the years, he progressed through house management, advocacy and compliance.

Maybe it’s the beach, markets, bowling, a favourite café, a nature walk, the movies… or somewhere completely different!

We want to hear YOUR recommendations

Drop your favourite spots or activities in the comments and let’s create a big list of ideas everyone can come back to when they’re wondering, “What should we do today?”

Tag your support worker, participant or friend and see what they choose!
