This is your invitation to sit down for an hour, tune out everything else and colour in, like you did when you were a kid! Your inner child will be skipping for joy and so proud of you 🌈

Wisdom inspired by the flower and the lamppost…❤️
A flower can grow taller and taller, but if it grows too far beyond our reach, we can no longer stop to appreciate its beauty.
Don’t get so caught up in competition and comparison that you forget to bloom where your own beauty can be seen.

I love taking more complex concepts about emotions, wellbeing and mental health, and transforming them into relatable, kid-friendly exercises.

Our first class in Connected to Me online involves the participants creating a fun thumbprint emotion story and labelling a gingerbread emotion diagram.

Learning about emotions and wellbeing can be fun!

Last days to book your child’s spot.

Starting this Tuesday online (UK time)

🎨 “Art is the meeting ground of the world inside and the world outside.”

I love this quote because it captures the essence of Inner U.

Sometimes children don’t have the words to explain what’s going on inside them.

But give them some paint, clay, movement, music, a piece of paper… and suddenly there’s another way to express it.

Art gives children a space to explore their feelings, make sense of their experiences and connect what’s happening on the inside with the world around them.

And the child doesn’t have to be an artist.
There’s no right way to draw a feeling.
No perfect way to create.
No expectation to explain.

Just a safe space to explore 🌈

After each class, our participants receive a beautiful affirmation card linked to that week’s theme and learning. 🌈

Displaying it somewhere they’ll see each day…on the fridge, bedroom mirror or noticeboard, helps reinforce the lesson long after class has finished.

This week’s affirmation reminds children that emotions aren’t something to fear or push away. They’re messengers, offering valuable information about what we need.

When children learn to welcome their emotions with curiosity instead of judgement, they begin building emotional resilience that can support them for life.

Connected to Me online series starts Tuesday 4th August. Details in bio 💛

🌊 Emotions are like waves.

They’re always going to show up. Sometimes they’re gentle and calming… other times they’re rough, messy and completely unexpected.

We can’t stop the waves, but we can teach children how to ride them with confidence.

In Connected to Me, we help children develop emotional awareness through fun, heart-centred activities that build lifelong skills.

💛 In our first class, children learn to tune into their bodies through a gentle body scan, noticing where emotions show up and giving those feelings a name.

🛠️ In our second class, I introduce a toolbox of practical coping strategies they can use when big emotions arise.

When children understand their emotions instead of fearing them, they become more resilient, self-aware and confident.

Because emotional wellbeing isn’t about never feeling big emotions -it’s about knowing what to do when they arrive. 💙

✨ Enrolments are now open for a 4-week online program, Connected to Me.

Through storytelling children externalise their feelings, making it easier to recognise, talk about, and develop healthy ways to respond.

Every story becomes an opportunity to build emotional resilience, empathy, and self-awareness.

This fun story activity forms part of our 4-week online series, ‘Connected to Me’ starting next month.

Limited spaces available for kids 7-12years. Join via the link in bio 🌈

It’s hard for children not to compare themselves to others…especially in a school environment. Leaderboards, races, tests, quizzes, awards… they’re constantly surrounded by opportunities to measure themselves against their peers.

Over time, these comparisons can quietly shape the stories they tell themselves.

🧠 “I’m not smart enough.”
🎨 “I’m not creative.”
⚽️ “I’m just not good at sport.”

Before long, they stop putting their hand up. They avoid trying new things. They stay inside the box they’ve created for themselves because it feels safer than risking failure.

Imagine instead if your child believed:

✨ I can learn anything with practice.
✨ Making mistakes helps me grow.
✨ My worth isn’t measured by being the best.

In Connected to Me, we help children build a healthy sense of self from the inside out. Through creative activities, mindfulness, discussions and play, they discover their unique strengths, build confidence and develop the courage to try new things - without comparing themselves to everyone else.

Because when children truly know who they are, they stop trying to be someone else. 🌱

🌈Want your child to grow in confidence and self-belief from the comfort of their home? Send me a DM with the word CONNECTED, or click the link in my bio to learn more.
