WHAT’S THE DEPTH OF THIS WORK? 🕊️✨

There is a world of difference between studying a technique and surrendering to the intelligent depths of a living field.

Over the past 14 months, my dedication to Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) has led me into its deepest folds. Sitting in the presence of a true master, Etienne Peirsman has been a sacred invitation to embody what I have always known:

WE ARE AN OCEAN OF PRIMARY RESPIRATION WITH NO SHORELINE. 🌊

Under Etienne’s holding, the body returns to an inner landscape beyond words—woven into these milestones along my path:

🌿 Returning to the Quiet Threshold: Reclaiming the body’s original temple, releasing cellular armour, and remembering how to be born anew.

📖 Read blog: BORN IN A TEMPLE: THE SACRED GRADUATION

💧 The Sacred Fluid Geometry: Reaching back into the embryonic blueprint, laid down in stillness before the mind ever constructed its first defence.

📖 Read blog: THE EMBRYONIC POTENCY IN THE WOMB SURROUND

👁️ Unspooling the Sentinel: Releasing hypervigilant tension in the optic pathways, whispering to the nervous system that it is safe to land softly upon the earth.

📖 Read blog: EYES: THE PORTAL TO TRUTH

🤍 The Keystone of Belonging: Meeting the sphenoid at the centre of the cranium, untying ancient knots, and discovering that our bones hold the blueprint of love.

BCST was never born to manipulate or fix. A true master never attempts to alter the body—he sits in unwavering alignment with your original blueprint.

Instead, he embodies a space so vast and quiet that the Health within your system finally feels witnessed—permitted at last to lay down its shield and rest back into Wholeness.

Etienne’s presence is a living anchor—a gentle reminder of the unblemished Health that was never lost, only waiting to be remembered.

I am filled with immense gratitude for this incredible 14-month journey, deeply honoured to be held by such mastery.

From the ocean of my heart, thank you, Etienne Etienne Peirsman . 🙏✨

THE INNER WEEPING OF THE JAW

During the Sphenoid course with Etienne Etienne Peirsman , we went deep into intraoral work—releasing the pterygoid and masseter muscles from the inside out. These are the primary jaw muscles we use to chew, clench, and—at the very beginning of life—latch, suckle, and draw nourishment into our bodies.

At the heart of this work sits the Sphenoid: the central keystone bone of the skull. Cradled gently within its body lies the pituitary gland—our master gland, responsible for releasing oxytocin, the hormone of love.

Intellectually, I have always known my birth story: four gruelling days of labour. A young, frightened, exhausted mother—sedated and berated by midwives for not being able to breastfeed. Her body in deep pain with chronically cracked ni***es, and my newborn body in deep tension from the harsh pull of cold forceps. Both of our systems were forced into survival; she could not give what she was not supported to offer.

But the mind’s knowing is distant compared to what the body remembers.

As gentle hands reached inside my palate to meet those deep jaw muscles, contacting the subtle rhythmic pulse of the sphenoid, a wave of grief washed through me unlike anything I had ever known.

It was not a thought; it was an inner weeping of the jaw. An ancient, silent ache stored where the biology of love meets the mechanics of survival.

In that stillness, a sacred truth surfaced:

IF MY TISSUES HAD NOT HELD THE BLUEPRINT OF LOVE, THEY COULD NEVER HAVE FELT THE LOSS OF IT!

Every cell in our body is designed to receive love—to be nourished by milk, soft touch, safe containment, the uninterrupted gaze of a mother, and the flood of oxytocin meant to bathe our developing nervous system.

My grief was not proof that I was broken. It was living proof that my tissues were created for connection. If the blueprint of love were not already etched into my anatomy, the absence of it would have carried no weight, no pain, no tears.

THE BLUEPRINT OF LOVE IS ETCHED IN OUR BONES 🤍

IN THE STILLNESS OF SPHENOID: WE FIND LIGHTNESS & JOY

Standing beside the armillary sphere in the gardens at Regent’s - a symbol of the central axis, alignment, and attuning to nature’s slow rhythms - felt like the perfect threshold for four days of profound transformation 🏛️✨

Under the guidance of master teacher Etienne Peirsman we stepped deep into the living architecture of the cranium—unfolding how the sphenoid bone, tentorium sellae, and pituitary stalk interact within primary respiration, and much more!

Attuning to the living motion of the sphenoid and her surrounds in fluid tide, we bridged precise anatomy with heartfelt touch and neutral presence. Instead of seriousness and heaviness, deep transformation required lightness and joy!

In the stillness of the sphenoid, craniosacral touches pure light, reminding us that ape joy is the true light of this inner work. 🌿🤍

Heartfelt gratitude to Etienne for his depth of wisdom, lightness of humour, and joyous of warmth, to Lizette and Carolyn for holding such a seamless, nourishing container, and to all my wonderful colleagues for the shared wisdom, practice, laughter, and deep connection as we grow and glow.

Leaving London grounded, grateful, and carrying this light forward along the path of inner work ✨

THE WINGS OF POTENTIAL 🧠🦋

Deep within the skull lies a butterfly-shaped bone holding the wings of our potential—and the key to untethering our nervous system: The Sphenoid.

Our sphenoid masterclass with Etienne Peirsman Etienne Peirsman is profoundly rich! Here are a few glimpses, starting with “Brain Stacking”—how this bone acts as the structural hinge for our central nervous system.

How the evolutionary layers of the brain sit directly over the sphenoid:

1️⃣ The Survival Brain (Pons & Brainstem): Rests on the clivus—the sloping bony junction where sphenoid meets occiput. This area governs survival drives, autonomic tone, and fight/flight/freeze states.

2️⃣ The Emotional Brain (Limbic System): Wraps around the sphenoid body near the sella turcica, guiding relational safety, memory, and emotional processing.

3️⃣ The Thinking Brain (Neocortex): Rests its frontal lobes over the expansive lesser wings of the sphenoid.

When birth dynamics, physical impact, or emotional tension locks the sphenoid in a strain, it maintains dynamic dural tension across these stacked layers. The pons stays compressed, keeping the nervous system on alert.

When primary respiration and fluid motion are restored, these neural layers can finally “unclutch.” The survival brain settles, allowing you to shift out of hypervigilance into deep somatic stillness—unfurling the true wings of our potential.

How does this crucial hinge become compressed in the first place? How do our earliest days shape its freedom and brain development?

More to come in the next post on the sphenoid and the mechanics of breastfeeding!

As I immerse deeper into the profound teachings of Etienne, I am filled with gratitude for this gentle, transformative work. I look forward to sharing more deep-dives with you in upcoming posts and longer journal pieces on the blog. ✨

THE HIDDEN SOUL OF NAPOLI

They call it L’Oro di Napoli—the Gold of Naples. But the real treasure isn’t found sparkling on the surface.

Coming here, the initial intensity of the city—the centuries of weathered stone, the graffiti, the clashing street noise—was confronting. She forces me to stop and absorb her raw, unfiltered reality.

Yet, there is a profound grace hiding in this contrast. I stayed with the intensity, and Napoli revealed her truest magic.

I walked past ancient, plain doors into dark courtyards that suddenly opened up into quiet sanctuaries.

I stepped into a bustling train to find accordion notes bursting into the air, live strings echoing through vaulted stone and alleyways, and sacred domes reaching into the infinite.

Naples doesn’t keep her music, art, and devotion in separate rooms—she lets them spill out everywhere. The light here shines so much brighter because of the darkness she cuts through.

She taught me not to just look at the outside. Step in, and live in the reality of life. 🏛️✨🎻

REACHING THROUGH THE ARCHWAY: RESILIENCE & PRESENCE

Stepping through centuries of weathered sandstone to begin today’s work at Transform Trauma Oxford.

Historic archways carry a conscious transition—moving from the weight of the past into the glory of presence.

Within the quiet depth of this reflective inner space, the heavy structure of ancient stone stands as a testament to resilience, holding space for both what has endured and what is ready to heal.

Walking beneath these vaulted corridors reminds me of the sheer grandeur of our existence: how we can carry history within us while continuously reaching through the archway to return to resilience, as open and free as the sky above.

Boundless gratitude for this surround as we transform trauma together.

EYES: THE PORTAL TO TRUTH

To study under Etienne is to be brought entirely to my knees; it is a humbling, breathtaking testament to a depth of teaching that goes far beyond technique and touches the absolute fabric of consciousness.

In my newest blog post, I explore how vision is so much more than an optical mechanism—it is a living archive of how I entered the world. Through the profound teachings of master teacher Etienne Peirsman Etienne Peirsman, the sacred container of Krishna Village Krishna Village | Yoga Centre and my beautiful practice partner, Amber, whose presence exquisitely gave what my nervous system needed, I unveiled what happens when the eyes finally surrender their fierce protective grip.

When cellular tissue meets absolute safety, ancient survival strategies unravel, and the optic pathway opens up to access the unspoken and unseen.

MEETING SCIENCE AND SPIRITUALITY ON THE SAME PLANE

Many years ago, a monk from Self Realization Fellowship introduced me to the book “Spiritual Bypassing: When Spirituality Disconnects Us from What Really Matters” by Robert Augustus Masters. That conversation left an indelible imprint on me—especially when I was wrestling with the profound difference between "forgetting the body" and “forgetting body consciousness”.

He made me realise how easily I could use concepts of chasing “high vibration” as a protective shield, enforcing “positive thinking” to unconsciously flee the messy, raw reality of being human.

His words set me on a journey that revealed a profound truth: Spirit isn't something floating high above the wreckage of my history; it is honoured in the inherent, living intelligence of the health that has been there since my conception, awaiting beneath the protective-armour.

When my nervous system is locked in survival—whether in a dorsal freeze or a hypervigilant loop following shock and trauma, it is the brilliance of a hard-earned defence mechanism at play. But my body does not need me to bypass my anatomy, it needs a felt-sense of biological safety.

Without inhabiting this physical vessel fully, I would have missed the depth of what it means to truly be human. There is nowhere to escape—and honestly, I wouldn't want to. I honour being a human, with all its messiness and rawness!

I can’t wait to delve deeper into these exact intersections as I count the days toward the Oxford Trauma Conference and its powerful theme: Science, Spirit and the Body: The Synthesis of Healing. Register via Link in Bio to secure your ticket.

BRIDGING SCIENCE, SPIRIT, AND THE BODY ✨

Counting down the days until the Oxford Trauma Conference, 14–17th September! 🗓️

I can’t wait to connect with world experts as we explore this year’s theme: Science, Spirit and the Body: The Synthesis of Healing (organised by ).

Even after completing my Compassionate Inquiry year-long training a while ago, the words of Dr. Gabor Maté () continue to anchor my work and my daily practice:

🕊️ “Trauma is not what happens to you. It’s what happens inside you, as a result of what happens to you.”

And each time he mentioned Craniosacral as an invaluable modality in the field of trauma healing during the training, it lit such a special spark within me!

This truth is what deepens my passion every single day. While cognitive work has its place, true trauma healing requires bottom-up, body-based modalities to help the nervous system process what words simply cannot reach.

To say I am excited to be attending the Oxford Trauma Conference in person is an understatement. Alongside amazing colleagues, I will be offering taster sessions, bringing these somatic frameworks into a live, shared collective space.

If you're attending in person, I would love to cross paths and share reflections. And if your heart is stirred to join us from afar, you are warmly invited to experience it online—you can find details and tickets here: https://mastersevents.com/?ref=12691💻🌸
