Perth, you made this one pretty unforgettable ❤️🧡💛💚💙

Our biggest What Ability Day yet, and we’re so grateful for everyone who came along and made it happen! Optus Stadium was full of energy, laughter and so many incredible moments that made the day what it was.

To our participants, families, support workers, volunteers and everyone who joined us, thank you for being part of it.

And a big thank you to our major partners Optus, Harvey Norman, Virgin Australia, AAMI, Tyrepower and Shaw and Partners for helping us bring everyone together for a day like this.

We can't wait to do it all again next year!

Tyler’s story is a reminder that the right support starts with understanding what matters most to each person ❤️🧡💛💚💙

In this video, Tyler’s parents, Sky and Loz, share their perspective on his journey and the happiness they see in him today.

“For us, it’s about our son’s happiness and that’s obviously evident now, so we can’t thank you enough.”

At What Ability, we believe trust and connection grow through genuine relationships and consistent support. Getting to know each person, their goals and what brings them happiness helps build a team around them that can support their independence and the life they want to lead.

Thank you to Skye and Loz for sharing Tyler’s story with us.

Come with us as we bring The Academy to life 🛋️

Brooke’s on a little Harvey Norman run, picking out the pieces that will help shape our newest space.

The Academy is our term-based program for school leavers, designed to create a space where young people can feel supported, comfortable and ready to take on what’s next.

A few good choices, a lot of thought, and one very exciting space coming together.

A huge thank you to our major partners at Harvey Norman for helping us make The Academy feel like a place our community can truly call their own ❤️

A year of confidence, friendship and happiness 💙✨

This Down Syndrome Awareness Month, we’d love for you to meet Ginger! Over the past year, we’ve watched her grow in confidence, find her people and feel more comfortable being herself.

For her mum, seeing Ginger surrounded by support workers who feel like friends has been one of the most incredible parts. People she trusts, laughs with and can be herself around 🧡

Three words to describe their experience with What Ability? Joyful. Positive. Trust.
