ACA CEO Alex Malley attended today's Allied Health Ministerial Roundtable in Sydney, hosted by Minister for Health and Ageing, the Hon Mark Butler MP, alongside representatives from across the allied health sector.

Convened to discuss the vital contribution of allied health to a stronger, more accessible and sustainable healthcare system, the roundtable provided an important opportunity to highlight the role of allied health professionals, including chiropractors, in supporting the health, wellbeing and independence of Australians.

Discussions focused on improving access to care, strengthening collaboration across health professions and enabling allied health practitioners to work to their full scope of practice.

👏 ACA welcomes the opportunity to contribute to these important discussions and continue advocating for greater recognition of chiropractic within Australia's healthcare system.

👏 A fantastic start to Rural Health Month in Busselton!

Last Sunday, ACA kicked off Rural Health Month with a successful Connect & Learn in Busselton, featuring Drs Jody Shawn and Nathan Bridger.

The session sparked engaging discussions on chiropractic care, practical strategies for patient retention and the presenters’ own professional journeys.

Attendees also shared valuable insights into the realities of rural practice, the challenges of attracting new graduates to regional communities and the important role chiropractors play in supporting rural Australians.

🙌 A big thank you to Drs Jody Shawn and Nathan Bridger, and everyone who attended, shared their experiences and contributed to a fantastic day of learning, discussion and connection.

We look forward to bringing more opportunities to connect and learn to our regional chiropractic communities in 2027!

🎉 Earlier this year, Spinal Health Month turned 30.

💥 Over those three decades, the ACA's flagship public engagement campaign has had many names, themes, and methods of engaging the public. One thing has remained consistent: it's commitment to advancing the profession and improving Australia's spinal health.

📖 To comemorate this incredible milestone, we've compiled a special publication that charts the campaign's history from inception to the present day.

🙌 By speaking with members who've been heavily involved with the campaign throughout the course of its life, we provided a clear snapshot of how far its come, and an understanding of what's necessary to ensure it sees another 30 years.
