What Are 'Keypoints' and Why Finding Them Changes Everything
Ever wondered why some spots on your body just feel different when you're in pain?
Your sanakey doesn't guess where to treat. It finds it. As you slide the electrode slowly over a treatment zone, you're scanning for keypoints: the exact spots where the tissue is holding tension. You'll know you've found one when:
πΈ The electrode sticks or drags, like it doesn't want to move on
πΈ The device's sound changes: quieter, sharper, or different in tone
πΈ The skin changes colour, a flush of red or a patch of paleness
πΈ The sensation suddenly intensifies at that one spot
Here's the part that surprises most first time users. Keypoints aren't always where it hurts most. Your body holds tension in patterns, not just at the painful spot, so the sanakey often finds trouble in places you'd never have pressed yourself.
Once you find a keypoint, you work it until those signs settle: the drag releases, the sound evens out, the colour normalises. That's the tissue telling you it's had enough for now.
This is the whole idea behind the Scan, Target, Assess method.
Let the device tell you where to go, not the other way around. It's a completely different way of thinking about self treatment, one that responds to your body in real time, instead of following a fixed routine.
