The Mace Energy Method - International Home Discover the evolutionary new pathway to emotional health and well-being. The exercises utilise a person's own inherent energy being. Dip Counselling, Dip Ed.

The Mace Energy Method’s mission statement is:

“TO ASSIST PEOPLE TO BE IN CONTROL OF THEIR OWN LIFE AND LIVE THEIR OWN DREAMS”

The result of over 50 years of independent research into life, this dedicated work has produced an entirely revolutionary body of knowledge, which has created a unique counselling method. The research describes the human spirit as a Human Energy Unit, hence the method being named the MACE ENERGY METHOD. The Mace Energy Method Therapy works by the client using a series of simple, silent mental exercises that involve limited no self-disclosure. The basic reason why Mace Energy Method is free of self-narrative is because it handles CAUSE and not manifestation, which gives the body of knowledge its name, CAUSISM. The entrance point to a person achieving control of their life is to handle life's upsets. There is not a person in the whole world who has not had an upsets. A major discovery of the Mace Energy Method is that, it is not what has happened to you in the past (upsets) that is important. It is ONLY the effects these things have left on you in the form of negative feelings, emotions and attitudes, that need to be deleted, for you to be back in charge of your life and dreams. The Mace Energy Method (MEM) is a fast and effective method which has been proven to eliminate anything about your personality or emotional makeup that does not feel good to you and would like to change. This Method works on all age groups, including children, and can be used to effectively do away with the effects left behind from the upsets we experience in life which include, trauma, depression, anxiety, anger, abuse, loss, stress, phobias, addictions, relationship issues, health issues and body problems and much more. Online sessions are equally as effective as face-to-face. This has allowed the method to be available no matter where a person lives. There is an important proviso that needs stating; in all cases, the client must genuinely want to change. This brings up an interesting point; no matter how skilled a MEM Practitioner and no matter how powerful the Mace Energy Method, it is impossible to change any one who does not want to change. A fundamental truth uncovered by the research is that everything that a person experiences is their own creation and it follows that if they created then they can also dis-create it. This is expanded upon in the book but here is an important excerpt:

"Feelings, emotions and attitudes are totally subjective. No one has a hypodermic syringe full of emotions or feelings, pleasant or unpleasant, with which to inject others. Therefore every emotion a person experiences is self-created, and it follows that he or she is the only one who can dis-create it. There is however, a positive side to this. If people are totally responsible for creating their own feelings, they are also capable of eliminating any unwanted feelings provided they know how to do so. The Mace Energy Method provides this “know how”. A necessary and important point to mention is that anything negative (non survival) although self created is created unknowingly. This is very logical when it is considered that the primal urge is Survival, so that anything, which is non-survival, cannot be knowingly created. Clients do not have to talk about or discuss their lives and definitely do not have to talk about any harrowing experiences that are adversely affecting them, in fact are discouraged from doing so. A case in point is a lady, dealing with the effects of abuse, who after many fruitless visits to conventional therapies for emotional relief, came to a Mace Energy Method Practitioner and burst into tears when told that she did not have to relate or relive the experience again. They were of course tears of relief! All that is necessary is for clients to indicate any unwanted feeling, or any unwanted aspect of life and then the new technology does the rest, guided of course by the MEM Practitione, unbelievable perhaps, but true. To re-enforce this aspect, after a session has been concluded, the MEM Counsellor will know practically nothing of the client’s history or personal life. Also almost unbelievable is that many clients only need a couple of sessions with a MEM Practitioner to eliminate their emotional problems. Causism is indeed a new body of knowledge that heralds a new age of understanding! Talking about our problems, going over them again and again can often make things worse and has no therapeutic value. Edward De Bono was correct when he said:
"Logic never changes any emotion or feeling. You can spend hours with logical argument trying to change some feeling or prejudice; you are not likely to succeed!"

Professional Recognition of MEM
Dr. Robert Roerich M.D., Research Psychiatrist wrote after adopting the Mace Energy Method procedures:
"This method advances the effective treatment of emotional illness and heralds a breakthrough of such unparalleled importance as to be worthy of a Nobel Prize"

Fred P. Gallo, PhD., author of Energy Psychology and Energy Tapping for Trauma also wrote:
"I consider the Mace Energy Method to be a major advancement in psychology, psychotherapy, and Energy Psychology. The method involves no analysis; limited discussion; no tapping, poses, gestures, bodily postures, or muscle testing; although I’ve been exploring if there is any need to integrate the method with other approaches. I believe it is a stand-alone method that relies simply on mental images and that it generally works faster and deeper than other more complicated therapeutic methods." A graduate of the Mace Academy, Gloria Arenson, MS, MFT, DCEP, a practicing psychologist wrote:
"The Mace Energy Method looks too good to be true because of its simplicity. However, the rapid positive outcomes amaze and delight my clients. Relationships improve, negative emotions and compulsive urges disappear, and they enjoy a new sense of well-being." Forward in John’s Book "Causism - Discover the revolutionary new pathway to emotional health and wellbeing"

As a psychologist and counsellor, I have long been aware that emotional trauma creates negative energy blocks in the body. But I have never found an effective procedure for ‘de-creating’ these blocks, until an extraordinary sequence of events led me to Murdoch University, where John Mace was lecturing on the theoretical principles of his revolutionary methodology. This encounter not only led me to becoming a trained practitioner in this procedure, but it has also reinforced my belief that when you are ready to trust your intuition, people who have something important to teach you come into your life. I am so glad John came into mine. John Mace has pursued his dream in his quest for knowledge, and in the process has developed and refined a dynamic procedure for locating and eliminating the emotional blocks associated with trauma. The concepts may initially appear revolutionary, but the process is so inclusive and interactive that the client cannot help feeling empowered by the procedure, which transforms notions of mind, body, spirit and identity into tangible realities. Tangible because the client participates at an experiential level in the process of identifying and eliminating unwanted identities using visual imagery. This unique method works rapidly and the outcomes are amazing and long term. I am thankful for John’s dedication to the task of perfecting the Mace Energy Method and am honoured to be writing this Foreword. Jocelyn Hardie

You may have been working on a recurring response, such as confidence, relationship patterns or procrastination, and you may already understand where it comes from. Understanding doesn't always change the experience.

MEM works directly with the negative identity that may be producing the response. You don't need to know the cause before your session. You start with what's presenting now, and a trained MEM Practitioner guides the process.

If you've been considering MEM, speaking with a practitioner is a great way to see whether a session feels right for you. Each experience is individual, and outcomes can't be guaranteed.

You might be capable and confident at work, yet feel inadequate the moment someone questions your decision.

From the perspective of Causism, this may be a negative identity becoming active. A negative identity is created during an upset, and when it's triggered, it can feel like who you are. It's something you experience. It isn't who you are.

MEM doesn't try to replace it with a more positive identity or ask you to keep proving yourself. A MEM Practitioner facilitates a process to identify and discreate the negative identity, so you can experience more of who you already are.

Tash, a rail network controller from Australia, had found it hard to let go of past situations, even after trying different approaches.

After a session with MEM Practitioner Justin Evans, Tash described a new way of seeing those events:

"It's not a part of who I am but just an event in my life"

From the perspective of Causism, a negative identity can form during an upsetting experience and remain active long after the event itself. MEM works with that identity without asking you to relive or analyse what happened. Individual experiences vary.

A MEM Therapy Session begins with what's presenting for you now. You don't need to know the cause beforehand, and you won't be asked to recount your history in detail or relive upsetting experiences.

A trained MEM Practitioner guides you through a specific, stand-alone process. Their role is to facilitate the method, not to analyse your past or advise you on life decisions.

The intention is to address what may be getting in the way of experiencing more of who you already are. Each experience is individual, and outcomes can't be guaranteed.

Abbey, a beautician from Australia, had found everyday activities becoming difficult, including leaving the house alone.

One part of MEM stood out for Abbey:

"Something I really enjoyed about my MEM sessions was not having to talk about specific people or life events."

After MEM Therapy, Abbey reported an immediate sense of calm. Everyday activities became easier, and Abbey felt less reactive in situations that used to be triggers.

A MEM Practitioner doesn't need a detailed account of your personal history. You can begin with what's presenting now. Individual experiences vary.

The same feeling can show up in quite different situations. A colleague might question your decision, a partner might disagree, or a family member might challenge your view, and each time the response feels familiar.

MEM distinguishes between a trigger and a cause. A trigger, such as a comment, a tone of voice or a situation, activates a negative identity. It brings the response into the present, but it isn't necessarily why the response exists.

For this reason, MEM works with the negative identity itself rather than addressing each trigger separately.

Understanding a pattern is valuable. Even so, knowing where a reaction began doesn't always change how you respond in the moment.

For example, someone may be skilled at their job and know that being questioned doesn't mean they're incapable. They may still feel uncertain when a colleague challenges their opinion.

From the perspective of Causism, understanding the manifestation isn't the same as identifying its cause. MEM works with the negative identity that may be keeping the response going. You can begin with what's presenting now, without recounting your history in detail.

Our new free guide is here.

You might know what you want to change and have already put real effort in, yet a familiar response keeps returning. It might show up as procrastination, hesitation, relationship patterns or confidence. This guide offers a fresh way to understand what may be happening.

Drawing on contemporary research and the principles of Causism, it explores triggers, negative identities and how MEM approaches recurring responses. It also explains why MEM Therapy doesn't require you to recount your history in detail or relive upsetting experiences.

When something matters, we naturally put effort into changing it. We set new goals, build better habits and try new approaches. Even so, a familiar response can return in certain situations.

The effort you've already invested still has value. MEM looks at the situation from another angle. It works with the negative identity that may be giving rise to the response, not only the visible behaviour.

Our free guide, Feeling Stuck: Why Trying Harder Doesn't Always Move You Forward, explores this idea. Coming 12 October.

Today we give a big warm celebrative welcome to newly Certified Licensed MEM Practitioner, Isaiah Brunt, who lives in NSW, Australia. 🥳❤🙏

Enjoy reading a little about Isaiah's in his Bio

My journey starts with some very interesting experiences I had as a child, and the questions that I asked, which were not understood or ignored.

After a few traumas in my own family and the challenges that followed, life became a personal game of survival within myself. I focused on a few talents I felt I could excel in, including music and sports. Eventually, music shone through, and I pursued it with passion, working at an elite level with both music and film celebrities and being recognised as an accomplished artist myself.

During this time, I also worked with family and friends in combat sports and achieved a national and world championship status. As a certified Combat sports Trainer, I have recently worked with a former international Olympian Boxer and local emerging athletes.

I had studied metaphysical practices from an early age, reading hundreds of books, attending numerous seminars, which always seemed to lead back to understanding more of ourselves. In my own family, I began searching for answers to emotional health after my daughter began acting out unusual behaviour. She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which led me to researching what that really was, and how that was discovered and when.

After researching different methods and looking for positive results, I came across the Mace Energy Method while reading a book by Jerry Marzinsky, BA, M.Ed. He is the co-author of An Amazing Journey Into The Psychotic Mind – Breaking The Spell Of the Ivory Tower.

I then contacted the Causism Institute and was introduced to a MEM Practitioner. She recommended I do some sessions for myself, so I did, and I can’t praise the healing experience enough. Now, as a MEM Practitioner, I highly recommend MEM and include it within the other fields I am involved with, such as the music industry and athletes in combat sports.
