With LOTS of mixed emotions, I would like to share that Tahnee will be finishing her role as a Social Worker with NEBS Therapy on Friday 6 November 2026.

Tahnee will be taking an exciting step in her Social Work career, moving into a new role that will allow her to broaden her professional experience, further develop her clinical skills and explore other areas of practice.

While I’m really going to miss having Tahnee as part of the team, I’m also incredibly excited for her and what lies ahead!

For NEBS Therapy, this transition creates an opportunity to explore new directions. I’ll continue providing NDIS Social Work Therapy and, in 2027 I’ll be adding additional services to support more children and teens in our area.

For now, we’ve still got one more week with Tahnee, and we’ll certainly be cherishing that time!!

Just wondering, Mark, did you let the carers know that they’ll soon have even more tirelessly caring to do because your government is cutting supports for the very people they care for? Or did that little detail slip your mind???

It must take a special kind of disconnect to stand in front of carers, praise their dedication and sacrifice, all while knowing your government’s decisions are going to make their already exhausting lives even harder.

It’s quite similar to a Lieutenant General thanking his soldiers for their service while preparing to send them into battle with fewer resources.

Carers don’t need more praise and photo opportunities. They need the people they love to be properly supported.
