How I felt about using my voice:

It felt good to use my voice when people listen to me. At the workshop last week they didn’t care that I have a speech problem. It shows that some people are going to support us to spread awareness about people with disabilities. Everybody needs to feel like they have a voice even if they need help to use it. People with disabilities, we need to work together to help spread awareness around the word. One person can’t do it alone. It is very important for the next generation of people with disabilities so that they have a better opportunity. Everybody in the community can get involved in some way. The earth will be a better place to live.

Whilst clearly a crowd favourite, we would also like to highlight Amy’s commitment. Not featured here is the less than glamorous work, folding towels and filling dog bowls. Amy gets it all done with a smile and great attitude 🐶

We recently joined Wellnest Solutions and the Townsville RSL for a fun night of karaoke.

We caught up with friends whilst eating delicious food, cheered each other on and of course, sung a few of our favourite hits.

A big thank you to Wellnest Solutions for putting together such a fabulous evening.

Casey, Kayla, Kara and Emily headed along to the Incognito Art Show after submitting some of their own artwork to this year’s exhibition.

Whilst their pieces weren’t on display at this particular showing, the girls had a great time exploring the exhibition, pointing out pieces to one another and picking their favourites.

It was wonderful to support other artists, share ideas and enjoy the creative inspiration together. 🎨✨
