Guess who’s back! 😍 (Cue Eminem’s Without Me) 😂😂

We’re so excited to welcome Teena back to Skinsense after maternity leave! 👏🏼👏🏼

For those who haven’t met Teena, she holds a Bachelor of Health Science, specialising in skin and laser treatments, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team.

From facials and peels to skin needling and advanced laser treatments, Teena loves all things skin, with a particular passion for working with our Fotona laser.

We can’t wait to have her back doing what she loves, and we know many of you will be just as excited to see her!

Only in Paris 🇫🇷✨

Next June marks 10 years of Skinsense stocking Payot, so being able to visit the Payot flagship in Paris felt pretty special.

After almost a decade of working with the brand, learning about the products and performing Payot treatments in clinic, getting to experience it right here in Paris was such a beautiful reminder of the history and expertise behind it all.

I was also lucky enough to have Payot’s iconic 42-step massage performed on me while the girls watched. Not only was it VERY relaxing for me 😂 but such a great opportunity for them to see the technique firsthand and understand just how unique the Payot facial experience really is.

Nearly 10 years together, and somehow this made me appreciate the brand even more. A very special stop on our Elly Lukas Euro spa tour 🤍

Picture this…
It’s Sunday morning. You’ve had a sleep in, the sun is shining and you’ve decided today calls for a proper breakfast.

You get out your favourite pan, pop it on the stove and start cooking some bacon. It’s sizzling away, the kitchen smells incredible, you’re already thinking about that first bite…

Life is good.

You’re standing there minding your own business when you realise you may have been a little enthusiastic with the temperature.

And then it happens.

SPLAT.

A little piece of hot bacon fat launches itself out of the pan and gets you straight in the cheek.

You jump. You probably swear.

It’s hot. It’s sharp. It’s a little spicy.

But do you turn the stove off and throw breakfast in the bin?
Absolutely not.

Because you know what’s coming.
Crispy bacon. Eggs. Toast. Maybe a hash brown if we’re really treating ourselves.

And suddenly that tiny moment of discomfort feels very, very worth it.
And THAT is how we’d describe Honeycomb Lift. 😂

I shared this to our stories yesterday, but the more I thought about it, the more I felt like it deserved a spot on the feed. 🤍

Every now and then you read something that just clicks, and this was one of those for me.

Because I’ve never looked at what we do as making people more beautiful. It’s about helping someone feel good in the skin they’re already in. Helping them feel confident, comfortable and like the best version of themselves.

The results are important, of course. But that feeling someone gets when they look in the mirror and genuinely feel good about themselves?

That’s the part we will never get tired of. 🤍

IT’S A …. 👶🏼👶🏼

A few weeks ago, the Skinsense team met for breakfast to find out what Tay is having! 🥰🥰

We each had a cupcake made for us, but only ONE had the coloured icing inside. Safe to say there was a lot of anticipation waiting to see who had the cupcake 😂

Getting to share moments like this together outside of the clinic makes me so proud of the team we’ve built. We spend so much of our lives together, and being included in these really special life moments is something I’ll never take for granted.

We already love this little Skinsense baby so much. 🤍😍

Layering treatments has been a big focus for us lately and here’s why!

One of the reasons we love our Fotona laser so much is because it allows us to treat the skin in multiple layers during one treatment.

Instead of targeting just one concern, we can support the skin in several ways at once.

Our Fotona 4D combines four steps that work together to stimulate collagen, tighten, smooth and refresh the skin.

For some clients we add our Honeycomb lift, creating a 5D treatment for even more tightening.
