Looking for a great Saturday job where you can build real retail skills, meet people and be part of a friendly local team?

Trentham Pharmacy is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Pharmacy Assistant to join us every Saturday morning.

This role would suit a school student or young person who is friendly, reliable, confident with customers and keen to learn. Previous retail or customer-service experience is highly preferred, but pharmacy experience is not essential — we can teach you the rest.

What you’ll be doing:
Welcoming and helping customers
Serving at the register
Stocking and tidying shelves
Unpacking deliveries
Keeping the pharmacy clean, organised and looking great
Helping the team during busy periods
Learning about pharmacy, health, beauty and everyday retail products

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

💪 Happy to stay busy and get involved
🧠 Keen to learn new skills

✨ Well presented with a positive attitude

Previous experience in retail, hospitality, a supermarket, pharmacy or another customer-facing role would be a big advantage.

📞 IMPORTANT PHONE UPDATE

We’re sorry for the recent problems with our phones cutting out.

Despite repeated attempts to resolve the ongoing issues with Telstra, the problem continues.

I have now personally arranged and am investing thousands of dollars to bring a specialist technician from Melbourne next week to get our phone and internet systems working reliably.

📣 WE’RE HIRING AT TRENTHAM PHARMACY! 💊✨

We’re looking for a reliable, energetic and proactive Pharmacy Assistant to join our friendly team in Trentham.

This is a casual role with set hours of approximately 22 hours per week across 4 weekdays, with the potential to increase to 27 hours per week — and no regular weekends! 🙌

We’re looking for someone who is:

😊 Friendly and great with customers
✅ Reliable, organised and takes pride in their work
💻 Confident using computers and learning new systems
💪 Happy to get involved with stock, deliveries and keeping the pharmacy looking great
🌟 Proactive — someone who notices what needs to be done and gets on with it

Previous pharmacy experience is helpful, but not essential. We’re more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

There is also plenty of opportunity to learn, develop your skills and take on more responsibility over time. 📈
