The face people make when we hand them the mirror is genuinely the best part of the job 🤍

Not because anything dramatic has happened. Usually, it's the opposite. It's someone looking properly at their own skin for the first time in ages, in good light, with somebody next to them explaining what they're seeing.

Most of us only ever glance at our reflection on the way out the door, which is a fairly unkind way to assess anything.

That's not how ours works.

Your weekly amount sits in your account as credit rather than being spent on anything in advance. What you eventually use it for gets decided the way everything else here does, by looking at your skin on the day and going from there.

Which means the plan can change. Skin does that, particularly through summer, after a holiday, or when something shifts hormonally. A membership shouldn't hold you to a decision you made in October.

There are three tiers with their own privileges, and places are limited so every member gets the time they deserve.

Skin changes through menopause, and it tends to happen gradually rather than all at once 🤍

Which is why most people put it down to tiredness or the weather long before they connect it to anything hormonal.

Skin that never used to feel tight suddenly does. Redness lingers longer than it did. A routine that worked perfectly well for years becomes unreliable. Underneath all of it, the barrier holds moisture less easily and collagen production drops away more steeply than before.

The instinct is to add more, and that's usually what makes it worse. Layering on more when the barrier is already struggling rarely ends well.

What tends to help is supporting the barrier, adjusting what you already use rather than starting again, and giving it longer than feels reasonable.

Has your skin started to look a little duller and feel less firm than it used to, even though your routine hasn't changed?

As oestrogen declines in the years leading up to and during menopause, many women notice their skin looking more tired, feeling less firm, and showing more texture and uneven tone. It's one of the things we talk about most in the clinic, which is why we're giving menopause skin our full attention this month.

PRX is a gentle treatment that can help support your skin through these changes. It works without needling or removing the skin's surface layer, so it's comfortable for most people, and most women head straight back into their day afterwards. Some tightness or pinkness for a few hours is normal.

It's designed to refresh the look of tired, ageing skin, and many clients notice improvements in texture, tone and firmness as their course progresses. Results build gradually and vary from person to person.
