The Garden Dispensary Welcome to The Garden Dispensary! Hi, my name is Ara, a Clinical Nutritionist. I studied BHSc Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics at Endeavour College, Perth.

I have also studied at the Nutrition Network of Professional Training in Low Carb, High Fat (LCHF). Diet Doctor based in Switzerland for diabetes and PCOS management. My study is based around ketogenic nutrition and the treatment of, autoimmune diseases (Diabetes, Alzheimer's, Dementia, PCOS) and improving the life and wellbeing of people inflicted with chronic illness. I set up 'The Garden Dispensary' with one goal: To show people that nutrition and diet is the foundation of your well being and therefore improving your health and lifestyle. Furthermore, making you aware that changing to healthy is not as hard as you think! Good Food = Good Health

Continuing education is a non-negotiable in clinical practice.

I’ve recently been completing advanced training in Cardiovascular Health: A Metabolic Perspective through Nutrition Network.

This training explores cardiovascular disease through a metabolic lens, including:
• Insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome
• Lipoproteins, inflammation, and vascular health
• The role of low-carbohydrate and ketogenic nutrition
• Moving beyond cholesterol-only models of risk

This deeper understanding helps inform a more nuanced, physiology-driven approach to cardiovascular health — grounded in evidence, not outdated dogma.

More insights to come.

Nutrition doesn’t have to be complicated.

This page is restarting to focus on metabolically-aligned
nutrition— including low-carb, ketogenic, and carnivore lifestyles — to support real health outcomes.

Here you’ll find:
* Science-based education
* Practical guidance
* Myth-busting nutrition content
* A focus on long-term health, not trends

Follow along if you’re ready to think differently about food and health.
