What a wonderful milestone to celebrate! 🥳

This week marks 12 months since Harry began his work experience placement at Great Ocean Road Tenpin Bowling, and we couldn’t be prouder of him!

Over the past year, Harry has had the opportunity to develop valuable workplace skills, build confidence, gain experience and, most importantly, feel part of a team. 💚

We would like to extend a very heartfelt THANK YOU to the amazing team at Great Ocean Road Tenpin Bowling for the kindness, patience, encouragement and genuine inclusion they have shown Harry throughout his placement.

It’s businesses and people like you who make such a difference. By opening your doors and providing opportunities, you’re doing so much more than offering work experience, you’re helping create a community where everyone is valued, included and given the opportunity to shine. 🌟

Harry, we are so proud of you! Watching you continue to grow, learn and achieve through your employment journey is exactly what our Employment Supports Program at 360 Southwest is all about.

Here’s to 12 wonderful months and the opportunities still to come! 🎳👏

🗳️ Make Your Vote Count!

Today, our 360 Southwest Life Skills and Employment Supports participants attended a “Make Your Vote Count” information session at the Warrnambool Library, presented by the Victorian Electoral Commission.

The session covered how voting works, why voting is important, what to expect at the upcoming 2026 Victorian State Election and the support available to voters.

Understanding the voting process is an important life skill, helping our participants build the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions and exercise their right to vote.

A great opportunity for some practical learning ahead of the upcoming election!

💜 Invisible Disabilities Week 💜

Not all disabilities are visible, but that doesn’t make them any less real.

This week, we recognise and raise awareness of the millions of people living with invisible disabilities.

Disabilities don’t always come with visible signs. Chronic pain, mental health conditions, neurological disorders, sensory challenges and many other conditions can impact a person’s everyday life in ways that others may never see or fully understand.

At 360 Southwest, we understand that every person’s journey is different. We believe that everyone deserves to feel heard, respected, supported and included, regardless of whether their disability is visible or not.

💜 Be kind — you never know what someone may be experiencing.

💜 Be patient — everyone’s challenges are different.

💜 Be understanding — just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it isn’t there.

💜 Be inclusive — everyone deserves the opportunity to participate and belong.

Let’s look beyond what we can see and focus on understanding, acceptance and inclusion.

Because every disability deserves recognition, and every person deserves respect. 💜

💚 WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY 💚

10 October 2026

Mental health matters. Every person. Every day.

Today is a reminder that we never truly know what someone else may be going through.

Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is ask for help. Sometimes the kindest thing we can do is simply listen.

At 360 Southwest, we believe everyone deserves to feel heard, valued, supported and included.

Whether you’re facing challenges yourself, supporting someone you love, or simply navigating the ups and downs of everyday life, remember that you are not alone.

💚 Check in on those around you.
💚 Be kind , everyone has a story.
💚 Make time for your own wellbeing.
💚 Remember that asking for support is a sign of strength.
