Last Thursday, our team joined the Walk for Reconciliation at Kaarta Koomba (Kings Park).

Experiencing the wildflower trails of this place of deep significance to Noongar people was a powerful reminder that reconciliation is an ongoing commitment, built through listening, learning and action.

It's why our partnerships with Aboriginal Medical Services and community organisations matter. Together, over the past year, we've supported more than 1,500 First Nations people with free respiratory education, lung health checks and support.

We know there is still more work to do, and we're committed to continuing the journey together. 💛🖤❤️

💙 What a special day at the Telethon Family Festival!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall, had a chat with us, asked questions, shared your stories, or simply came over to say hello. We loved connecting with so many families and seeing children light up as they spun our prize wheel.

And of course, Puff stole the show once again, bringing plenty of smiles (and some impressive dance moves!) wherever they went. 🐉

A big thank you to Telethon7 Perth for having us, and to the generous WA community for once again coming together to raise a record amount of funds to help vulnerable children. This festival is a wonderful reminder of why we do what we do.

What's big, blue and the best at giving out high fives and hugs? 💙🐉

Our beloved mascot, Puff the Dragon, will be back at this year's Telethon Family Festival and ready to hit the famous Mascot Dance Party floor, showing off their moves and bringing plenty of smiles and laughs along the way.

You'll also find our team on Level 1 inside RAC Arena, so be sure to stop by and say hello! If you're up for a challenge, test your asthma knowledge by telling us a symptom or trigger, then have a go at spinning the wheel for your chance to win some great merch. 🌀

See you this Sunday! 💙

💙🏀Huge thanks to Binar Futures for having us at the recent Broome Health Embassy. We always love the opportunity to connect with children and families, have a yarn about asthma, and chat through common triggers and symptoms to look out for.

We're already looking forward to the next one! Watch this space for more details.

💙 One of our favourite days of the year is almost here! 🎉

The Telethon7 Family Festival is back on Sunday (18 October), and we can't wait to meet lots of families, chat all things asthma, and share some simple tips and resources to help keep little lungs healthy.

You'll find us upstairs inside RAC Arena with plenty of giveaways, fun prizes, and our ever-popular spinning wheel! 🎡✨

Come say hello, spin to win, and have a chat with the team. We can't wait to see you there! 👋💙

P.S. More details coming soon about our very special friend who's big, blue and always a crowd favourite... 💙🐉✨

💙 Loving our new scrubs this year! 🥋

For almost six years, Simon Stewart and the team at Stewart & Heaton have supported Respiratory Care WA through the annual donation of scrubs for our nurses, scientists and respiratory specialists.

Their generosity helps ensure our team can continue delivering respiratory care, education and support to people and families across Western Australia.

To Simon and everyone at Stewart & Heaton, thank you for being such wonderful supporters of Respiratory Care WA over the years and for helping us make a difference in communities across WA.

The free service provides education, support and care coordination via telehealth for people living with chronic respiratory conditions such as asthma and COPD.

🌏🫁 Today is World Lung Day.

This year's theme, A Lifetime of Lung Health, reminds us that healthy lungs are shaped by the environments we live in, the care we receive, and the actions we take throughout our lives.

From supporting healthy lung development in childhood to helping people manage respiratory conditions and age well, every stage of life matters.

Take a moment today to learn about lung health, support someone living with a respiratory condition, or make one positive change for your lungs. Together, we can help more people breathe easier and live well for life. 💙
