A little moment of calm in the middle of everything.

Take a breath, settle in and let yourself just listen.

Save this and come back whenever you need a moment to pause.

If you told the me of four years ago that this is where I’d be today, I don’t think I’d believe you.

Not because everything is perfect, but because so much has changed.

I’m so grateful for all the little steps, the decisions, the things I’ve tried and the moments I chose to do something differently that have brought me here.

It’s a reminder that you don’t have to have it all figured out, and you don’t need to change everything overnight.

Sometimes, it’s the small choices you make along the way that lead you somewhere you never imagined you’d be.

So if you’re in a season where you’re craving something different, trust that you can start small.

Your life doesn’t have to look the same forever.

Stop waiting until you have an hour to look after yourself.

You don’t need a full morning routine or a 30 minute meditation to begin.

Start with one minute.

Pause. Take a few intentional breaths. Let yourself arrive in the moment before rushing into the next thing.

Sometimes, the smallest moments can make a difference in how you show up for the rest of your day.

Save this for the next time you need a moment to reset.

A few reminders for the woman who is always trying to do better, be better and hold it all together.

The one who finds it hard to switch off.
Who says yes when she wants to say no.
Who feels guilty when she rests.
Who sometimes forgets that she’s a person too, not just the person everyone relies on.

If that’s you, I hope one of these reminders meets you where you are today. Get to the end as number 5 is arguably the most important. 🫶

Save this for the days you need a little reminder, or send it to a woman who might need to hear it, too.

A little Sunday reminder for the woman who always has something to do.

The washing. The groceries. The meal prep. Getting organised for the week ahead.

It’s so easy to let the whole weekend become one big catch-up session.

So, before you get stuck into today’s to-do list, I wonder if you could take just 10 minutes for yourself.

Sit outside with your coffee.
Go for a walk without rushing.
Read a few pages of that book.
Put on some music and do absolutely nothing productive.

Not because you’ve earned it by getting everything else done.

But because you deserve moments in your day that are just for you, too.

The to-do list can wait ten minutes.

What would feel good for you today?

Something I’ve been reminded of this week.

I’ve been making more time for myself.

Booking the massage. Prioritising movement. Making space for daily meditation.

And honestly, part of me used to feel like these things were selfish. Like there was always something else I could be doing with that time.

But here’s what I’ve noticed.

I’m more present in the sessions I hold at work.

I’m making more time for my partner.

I’m showing up differently in my relationships.

And I’ve been more productive than I have in weeks.

Not because I’ve been trying harder, but because I’ve actually been giving myself some of what I need.

It’s reminded me that looking after myself isn’t separate from how I show up for other people.

Sometimes, taking ten minutes for yourself changes how you show up for the next hour.

So the next time you tell yourself you don’t have ten minutes to meditate, go for a walk or do something that helps you feel good

I wonder what those ten minutes might give back to you.

And the people around you, too.

You know when someone asks you for something, and you already know you don’t really want to say yes?

But you say it anyway.

Because it’s easier than disappointing them.

Then you spend the next three days wondering why you agreed to it in the first place.

I’ve been there.

One of the biggest things that helped me change this was learning that I didn’t have to give an answer straight away.

Instead of automatically saying yes, I started saying:

Let me check and get back to you.

Such a small thing, but it gave me space to actually think about what I wanted, what I had capacity for, and whether I genuinely wanted to say yes.

You don’t have to make a decision on the spot just because someone had asked.

I learnt to tolerate the discomfort of potentially disappointing someone, rather than automatically disappointing myself.

So, if you’re someone who tends to say yes before you’ve even thought about it, try this.

You don’t owe anyone an immediate answer.
Give yourself a moment.
