Controversial? Maybe. But hear me out! 🔥
The women before us fought hard for equality, breaking barriers and opening doors. And I'm incredibly grateful.
But did we confuse equality with sameness?
We've earned our place in a world largely designed around men's bodies and working patterns.
Yet women aren't necessarily designed to perform at the same level every single day of the month, at least not without a cost.
Our hormones fluctuate. Our energy, mood, sleep and needs change. And then perimenopause arrives and shakes things up even further!
What if the next step in women's equality is creating a system that actually supports our biology?
🌿 Schools that teach girls to understand and honour their cycles.
🥑 Workplaces that support nourishment, flexibility and rest during the luteal phase.
🌸 Menstrual leave without guilt or judgement.
💚 Genuine support through perimenopause and menopause.
This isn't about women being less capable. It's about creating a world where we can truly thrive!
I believe the next evolution in holistic women's health needs to happen beyond the clinic walls, in our schools, workplaces and communities.
Equality shouldn't mean ignoring our differences. It should mean supporting them.
💬 What do you think? Have we created equal opportunities without creating an environment that truly supports women?
