Let's talk about it.

AI is changing healthcare, but somewhere along the way, people started confusing working smarter with replacing the people doing the work.

Being ready to see patients doesn’t always mean you’re ready to bill them. 👀
Before seeing patients under a new payer, make sure your enrollment is complete, your effective date is confirmed, and you’re properly linked to the practice.
A little verification on the front end can prevent a whole lot of billing headaches on the back end. Don’t guess. Verify.

Your biller should have access.
But so should YOU.
Giving your billing company 100% control of your payer portals while you don’t know the login, email attached to the account, or even where to access it can create a BIG problem later.
As the provider/practice owner, you should know:
• What payer portals your practice uses
• How to log in
• What email and phone number are attached to the account
• Who has administrator access
• How to reset the password if needed
• How to add or remove authorized users
Your biller may manage the day-to-day work, but you should never be completely locked out of your own business.
Staff changes.
Billing companies change.
Passwords change.
And when they do, you don't want to be asking:
“Wait… who has access to my portal?” 😩
Let your biller do their job—but keep ownership and access to YOUR accounts.
