🩸 HEMATURIA: Blood in the Urine — Don’t Ignore It!
Hematuria can be microscopic (detected only through urine testing) or macroscopic (visible to the naked eye).
🔎 Common causes include:
✅ Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
✅ Kidney or ureteral stones
✅ Enlarged prostate or prostatitis
✅ Kidney diseases
✅ Bladder, kidney, or prostate tumors
✅ Trauma or urinary tract injuries
⚠️ Blood in the urine is NOT normal and should never be ignored!
Whether microscopic or visible, hematuria requires appropriate medical evaluation to identify its cause and rule out serious conditions, including urological cancers.
👩⚕️ Early detection can make all the difference. Consult your urologist!
