Mountain Health Team Mountain Health Team is Airdrie's premier Naturopathic clinic where we provide natural focused healt

At the Mountain Health Team, we believe that your optimal health is one of the most important treasures you can gain in life. A difference with our approach is that we focus on people not diseases. As people are unique, some people may have several contributing factors to their current condition and therefore require a unique combination of the most indicated modalities and therapies in order to return to health. We also realize that a coordinated approach to your health care may achieve the optimal benefit for you. That is why we have a team of professionals to better serve you. Additionally, you are welcome to see us in conjunction with any other health care provider, see any one of our team exclusively, or we conveniently offer referrals when indicated to coordinate your health solutions. Naturopathic medicine is a comprehensive primary health care system that distinctly addresses the root causes of illness by integrating conventional medical science with traditional natural therapies. Naturopathic doctors (ND) aim to determine the underlying causes of disease and restore optimum health by treating the whole person. As primary care doctors, ND’s threat both acute and chronic conditions by using: botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, lifestyle, counseling, physical medicine (spine and joint adjustments, massage, hydrotherapy, etc.), environmental medicine, exercise prescription, acupuncture/Asian medicine and homeopathic medicine.

It’s back to school time! Our youngest is going into grade 11 and our oldest is taking a gap year and we drove him down to Wyoming to start of volunteer program. There were some difficult moments saying goodbye 😔 but that’s part of growing up!

If your child is experiencing difficulty in school, both Dr Mountain and Dr Alexa are familiar with natural treatments to facilitate focus and learning.

It’s your last chance to get out and simulate what it’s like to forge for food! I think Sweet Life Saskatoons is already closed for the season, but Sarah and family (new owners) at Solstice Berry Farm were happy to show us where some of the last berries could be found. Due to weather, it was a tough year for them so they’ll only be open until Friday. It’s just a great way to get out into nature and develop an extra appreciation for where food comes from.
