Boy oh boy where do I even begin??

Mixed metals, genuine gemstones, pops of colour, fun shapes, all made by Canadian jewelry makers?! This was the most fun appointment ever!

Let’s break it down…

We did three new piercings, second and third lobes. Our shark tooth in the third lobe is white gold, the lighting bolt in the second lobe is yellow gold and the second lobe on the other ear is a white gold setting with a white CZ and a gorgeous amethyst💜

Double Tragus piercings!

I’ve been piercing Ryder since I first started piercing and today I had the opportunity to add to this already perfect set up! This was SUCH a treat to do💚

To be super real and transparent, this was not a quick and easy piercing. Our initial poke came out at an angle that I wasn’t thrilled with, after some discussion we decided it would be best to re-pierce and send Ryder home with some piercings we could BOTH be proud of!

I really wish I was a lean, mean, perfect poke every time, piercing machine but unfortunately I am just a mere mortal who makes a mistake from time to time. It can be pretty embarrassing to admit to a client that you kinda botched something…but more often than not, people are really understanding and appreciate the honesty, and most of the time, they’re cool with you giving it another go (Which is really super wicked)

Everyday I wake up and get to pierce is a great day, any day Brandi is scheduled…is the BEST day!

These ears are my magnum opus, I was fortunate to have done every one of a Brandi’s piercings with the exception of the lobes and rook. All these piercings are now downsized and over a year healed!

Today I got to make some very cool additions to these already very cool ears, we changed out the jewelry on these conch piercings to these super cool pieces from MAË Body Jewelry | Fine Gold Piercing Jewelry

In our outer conch we have the Pearl Widow with a genuine pearl, in the lower conch is the super sparkly Spooky Sparkle, both in solid 14k white gold.

The other piercings I did for Brandi are all rocking CS Body Jewelry

I feel so beyond stoked to have pierced and adorned this conch with maybe one of the coolest pieces I’ve had in my jewelry case.

I picked up this piece from Alchemy Adornment while I was in Victoria for Canadian Piercing Education Series(CPES)

I am crazy about the fun textures of this piece and the rose cut garnet in the center is so dang beautiful. Photos really don’t do this piece justice🥲

P.s. as the weather starts cooling down, it may be time to consider getting a new piercing! Lots of piercings take 6 months to a year to heal, if you get pierced now, you’ll be ready for your next summer!

Well that’s a wrap on the second annual Canadian Piercing Education Series! 🇨🇦

I am proud to say that this is also my second time attending this event and I have to say I am in absolute awe! It is very obvious that Amus Beasto and their team put a lot of thought and care into this event to make it as wonderful as it is. It really feels like attendees, vendors and venue size doubled in only a year’s time which is no small undertaking!

Two days full of learning, this year’s classes and instructors included
