Rooted in Remedy My name is Anne. Diagnosed with RA at 42, I was told to manage, not heal. I chose another path. Through nature, mindset & holistic healing, I reclaimed my life.

I’m now in remission, and here to show others that pain isn’t the end. Healing is possible.

Here's something I think about a lot: we're often taught to trust things simply because of how they're packaged, and to question things simply because they came from a plant.

I don't think either deserves blind trust. Whether something comes from a lab or a garden, it's worth understanding why it works, what it's actually doing, and whether it's right for you specifically. Herbs have supported people for generations, and I believe there's real wisdom in what nature has provided, but that's still something worth researching and understanding, not just accepting at face value.

Curiosity and questions are always welcome here, about any approach to health, old or new.

A refresher for anyone new here, or anyone who's been meaning to book and just needs the details laid out plainly.

Your initial consultation includes a full health history review, whole-body testing, and an assessment of any supplements you're currently taking. Once we have that information, I'll create a personalized herbal plan if it's the right next step for you, so everything you walk away with is actually built around what your body showed us that day.

No guesswork, no generic checklist. If you've been sitting on this one, my bio link makes booking simple.

It’s official, I’m heading back to The Health Hut in Tillsonburg for another Rooted in Remedy pop-up day. 🌿

There are now only two spots left for Saturday, October 24th, so if you’ve been thinking about booking, this is your chance.

Your appointment includes a full health history, whole-body bioenergetic testing, and a look at the supplements you’re currently taking so we can get a clearer picture of what your body may be asking for.

If you’d like one of the remaining appointments, send me a message to claim your spot.

With Thanksgiving coming up, I'd love to know: what's one thing about your health, big or small, that you're genuinely grateful for this year?

For me, it's simple: I'm grateful I can move through my day without pain running the show. Share yours below, I read every single one.

It's that time of year when everyone's cabinet starts filling up again, immune support here, vitamin D there, a little bit of everything just in case.

More isn't always better though. Some supplements genuinely support what your body needs this season, and others just sit there doing very little, or in some cases, working against something else you're taking. Supplement testing helps sort out which is which, so you're not stocking up on guesswork.

If your shelf is looking a little crowded lately, it might be worth finding out what's actually earning its spot.

Fall has a way of putting extra demand on the body, shorter days, colder air, busier schedules, and for a lot of people, that shows up as feeling run down before winter even starts.

This is actually a great time of year for a whole-body check-in. Testing gives us a clear picture of where your systems are at right now, so instead of just pushing through the season and hoping for the best, you've got real information to work with.

If you've noticed you tend to feel more depleted once the weather shifts, that's worth paying attention to, not just accepting it as normal.

A little update from me: I'm still medication-free and still feeling like myself, over a year in now.

I don't take that lightly. There were years I genuinely wondered if I'd get here, and now it's just... my normal. I still have days that are harder than others, that part doesn't disappear completely, but the overall shift in how I feel has been life-changing.

I share this update every so often not to make it about me, but because I know some of you are still in the middle of your own hard stretch, and I want you to know it's possible to come out the other side of it.

Long before anything came in a bottle or a package, people turned to what was growing right around them.

Herbs have been part of human history since the very beginning, used across cultures, generations, and continents to support health long before modern industry existed. This isn't a new trend or a wellness fad, it's actually one of the oldest relationships humans have had with the natural world.

I find so much value in learning what our ancestors understood about the plants around them, and in bringing some of that knowledge into how I support my clients today. It's less about reinventing something and more about remembering what's always been there.

So… we’re doing it again! 🍂
