A shout out to Tom Bolland of Bolland and Associates for his Financial Assistance in keeping the Community Wholeness Centre up to date with all our Financials required by a Not for Profit. Because of Tom, we were able to get a small amount of funding from the Canadian Red Cross. They believed in the programs and services we provide. That funding allowed us to develop our Virtual Tax Program, thanks to Winston.
We are again the only agency providing Free Community Tax Services for the 2020 Tax Year and could use some more funding. We have applied to the County of Simcoe, cross your fingers for us, everyone. "I would like to express my gratitude to The Community Wholeness Centre for assisting me with free service in preparing 4 years of Income-tax that I was unable to financially prepare myself and not quite sure how I was going to solve my problem.
In speaking to my caseworker at Ontario Works in Barrie she referred me to the Community Wholeness Centre and explained to me that this is a free service and spoke very highly of the Wholeness Centre and how they assist people in a time of need.
I truly feel this program is needed to help people, especially now with so many people like myself struggling financially and with Covid upon us adds to the stress of our everyday life. I believe this program of assistance will help so many people and take some of the burdens from their lives.
I would especially like to thank and compliment Winston whose professionalism and qualifications were exceptional. Winston was very quick and thorough and explained step by step as he was working through my taxes.
Winston was a pleasure to speak with and his personality made me very comfortable, he was easy to talk with and we did share a few laughs. I understand Winston was offering his time at no charge to assist me and I am very grateful."
On December 20, 2020 we will be hosting a COVID safe Family Christmas event join us and meet our Black Santa, enjoy activities and receive prizes from our Sponsors. Stay tuned for more details! ❄️

Hello Fellow Coordinators,
The Government of Canada has announced a one-time $600 payment in recognition of the extraordinary expenses faced by persons with disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This payment complements other emergency supports, such as the one-time special payment through the Goods and Services Tax Credit and the one-time payment to seniors. Approximately 1.7 million Canadians will receive the one-time payment.
Individuals who are eligible for the one-time payment include:
individuals who have an existing valid Disability Tax Credit (DTC) certificate
persons who are eligible for the DTC and who apply for it by September 25, 2020
beneficiaries as at July 1, 2020 of either:
Canada Pension Plan Disability
Quebec Pension Plan Disability Pension, or
one of the following disability supports provided by Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC):
Pain and Suffering Compensation
Critical Injury Benefit
Rehabilitation Services and Vocational Assistance Program
Income Replacement Benefit, and/or
Canadian Forces Income Support
You do not have to apply to receive this payment. The payment consists of a one-time, non-taxable and non-reportable amount of $600.
We expect to issue the payments beginning this fall. The payment information will be provided once available.
More information on the one-time payment to persons with disabilities can be found here or within the attached factsheet.
The CRA can help you apply for this credit at no charge.

"I’m writing on behalf of my mother and me. This testimony is extremely easy to write and we owe so much gratitude to this tax clinic.
We were impacted by Covid and lost my father and were left scrambling to understand our financial situation. On top of grieving, we now had the added anxiety of trying to understand how to proceed with a multitude of forms that came as a complete second language to us.
We are forever humbled that Yolanda was the only one who responded to us, she listened and responded with so much kindness and connected us to the Tax Coordinator named Winston.
Winston is absolutely outstanding to say the very least. I was taken aback by the first couple of emails in the most positive way. Winston was very quick to ask all the right questions and dig as deep as he could to be able to assist us. Our communication was very clear and we were able to understand exactly what Winston needed from us. In addition, he proved to be a master of his craft and extremely talented in his field. Not only that, but we felt that Winston also really cared about our situation and we weren’t just treated like another case. Thank you Winston!!
Thank you Community Wholeness Centre. After all, was said and done, Yolanda and Winston were able to give us that sigh of relief we were looking for in regards to this matter. We are still in awe of the help we received from this tax clinic and anyone looking for help I can truly say, this is an amazing team. From Karina and Oksana, thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the both of you."

My friend tuned in via my phone filming the live meditation session. She absolutely felt goosebumps, as she silently tuned in with full attention. She got her self realization in Costa Rica, spontaneously as we talked about the life force daily. She was so happy to feel the energy again during the online session! A living process you can verify through the language of vibrations. Thank you for sharing!
