Some days I’m reminded just how much I LOVE my job!

Today was one of those days where I got to see two very different clients experience some pretty amazing changes. 🙌

✨ Client #1: We discovered they had a diastasis recti that appeared to be contributing to his pain in both quads. We were able to work on the abdominals and reduce its size!

✨ Client #2: Came in with lower back spasms that were significantly limiting his range of motion. By the end of the treatment, he was moving freely again and could touch his toes! 🤯

These are the moments that make my job so rewarding. Helping people move better, feel better, and get back to doing the things they love is exactly why I do what I do.

This is what makes RAPID NeuroFascial Reset (NFR) so exciting for me. Every client is different, every body tells a different story, and I love helping people figure out what might be contributing to their pain and movement restrictions.

Measles is a highly contagious viral infection that can cause serious complications, including pneumonia, severe diarrhea, and even death, especially in young children. Vitamin A plays an important role in maintaining a healthy immune system and protecting the lining of the lungs and intestines. During a severe measles infection, vitamin A levels can drop significantly, making it harder for the body to fight the infection and recover. Researchers have found that giving high-dose vitamin A as part of medical treatment can help children recover faster and reduce the risk of life-threatening complications.

A randomized controlled trial published in The New England Journal of Medicine studied 189 children hospitalized with severe measles in South Africa. Researchers gave 92 children oral vitamin A (retinyl palmitate), totaling 400,000 IU, while 97 received a placebo. Only 2 children in the vitamin A group died, compared with 10 in the placebo group, representing approximately 79% fewer deaths. Vitamin A also reduced the combined risk of death or serious complications by 49%. Children receiving vitamin A recovered from pneumonia in an average of 6.3 days compared with 12.4 days, recovered from diarrhea in 5.6 days compared with 8.5 days, and spent fewer days in the hospital. These findings support the use of vitamin A in treating severe measles in children under medical supervision. The dose used was a high-dose medical treatment, not a regular daily supplement.
