As we’re officially in fall 🍁the weather cools down and the heat is on, the air is dry with less moisture which will affect our skin, nails, hair…making them drier, more brittle. The extra care is needed and here are my tips:

▪️Use a gentle cleanser - A milk type of a cleanser is more gentle and it won’t dry out your skin. You need to save as much as oils your skin needs to protect itself.

▫️Switch up your moisturizer - You might need to change your moisturizer; from light, oil free to thicker texture or simply just add a serum to your routine if you haven’t used one in the summer months.

▪️Start exfoliating the skin by doing either chemical peels or microdermabrasion to eliminate dead summer skin for some new glow.

▫️Add Vitamin C to your regimen - It evens skin pigmentation, which helps to boost collagen production, resulting in a brighter complexion.

▪️Moisturizer your body right after you’ve showered, using lukewarm water ( hot water is drying your skin; this one’s going to be a tough one for us loving red hot showers ) 😁

▫️Don’t forget to put some cream on your hands, feet and your lips.

▪️If the air is too dry in your home maybe it’s time to invest in a good humidifier.

▫️Keep using a SPF, make it a year-round habit to protect the skin from its harmful rays.
