According to Swami Sivanada, There is an intimate connection between the breath, nerve currents and control of the inner prana or vital force.

Once the mind has been stilled and prana flows freely in the nadis and chakras, the doorway to the evolution of consciousness opens, leading the aspirant into higher dimensions of spiritual experience.
There are a profound number of things that can impact your breathing; for example your lifestyle. Physical activities such as exercise, work, sleep, food, and sexual relations all affect the flow of your breath. Irregularities in your lifestyle such unhealthy food habits, stress, and lack of sleep can deplete the flow of your breathing and obstruct your emotions.

Breathing excersies teach us how to use our breath to change how we feel. Our breath and our emotions are closely connected, which is why breathing excersies can channel our thoughts/emotions and help us focus on changing how we feel from negative to positive. ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ

Life is a journeyโ€ฆ

Life is a series of events, one after another. Some are good and some are bad but that doesnโ€™t mean life isnโ€™t good at all. According to situations and karma we keep on going and accelerating in life with all of hearts and emotions. Whenever something happens, it happens for a reason, and for that mere aspect, we need to keep ourselves motivated.

If something ends, thereโ€™s always a ray of hope that something new and fresh is coming our way. Something evident and much more practical is finding the path to reach us ultimately. Thatโ€™s what we call a new beginning, a new phase of life to start with positivity. All you need to do is to leave behind the past and be happy to welcome the new ventures with some really good practices, new beginning.

After every dark night, thereโ€™s a bright sunny morning and alike that after every bad phase or experience thereโ€™s a new and positive beginning for something great coming our way.

"The human body is a temple" was the famous saying by Thirumoolar, one of the 18 yoga siddhars, among whom sage Patanjali finds his rightful place. Siddhars, according to Thirumoolar, are "those who live in yoga and see the divine light and power through yoga."
Hindu temples and the human body are considered identical. The five important parts of the temple that are identical to the human body are vimana (head), sanctum (neck), artha mantapam (stomach), prakara walls (legs) and gopuras (feet). The deity in the sanctum is considered the soul of the body.
By practicing yoga regularly, one worships the body and maintains optimum health. Regular yogic practices promote physical and mental health. Yoga develops compassion and love for others, promotes peace within and allows one to experience the bliss one would experience in a temple.
