Comment “PK11” to learn how to release the adductors.

Most therapists skip the adductors. They work the glutes, the hamstrings, the IT band, and leave the inner thigh alone.

But tight adductors pull the leg inward. So when they’re stuck, the whole hip feels stuck, no matter how much you work everything else.

That’s why your client still can’t open their hip after the treatment.

Comment “PK11” to learn how to release the hamstrings.

Most therapists try to release tight hamstrings with their thumbs.
But the hamstrings are big, strong muscles. Thumbs alone usually can’t get deep enough, and they wear out fast trying.

So you end up working harder, your hands start to hurt, and the hamstrings still don’t let go.

Use your knee to hold the hamstring while you pull the leg back. You get more release with way less effort. With that being said, this isn't sustainable skin to skin unless you can wash your knee every time, another option is to place a cloth while doing the technique with draping.

Comment " PK11 " to learn the hip mobility reset 💪🏼

Most therapists only stretch the hip in straight lines. Forward, back, side to side.
But the hip doesn’t just move in straight lines. It rotates and circles too.
So if you never take it through circles, you’re missing the spots where it’s actually stuck. That’s why your client still feels tight after the stretch.

Comment “ PK11 “ only if your serious about resetting your client’s hips.

If your client's piriformis is tight,
it squeezes the sciatic nerve, so your client thinks they have sciatica when it's really just a tight butt muscle.

Meet Kate. 🙌

She started out as a dental assistant and has been a massage therapist for 10 years now. She works with everyone, including CFL players.

She told me something I hear a lot: sometimes she felt like she didn’t have the strength to lift and stretch the big guys, and she wanted to feel more comfortable in her own body while working.

Now she says she knows how to spare her body. That’s the whole point. 💛
And honestly, hearing her say “everything you teach, I can use” made my day.

Thank you Kate. So happy you were in the room thank you and your daughter for the Charmander shirt

Comment "PK11" only if you're serious about learning the new hip mobility reset online masterclass.

Laying your client over your thigh during Body Monk Method causes the same effect as them lying over a foam roller on their low back, it decompresses it. Add spinal rotation and you're increasing trunk ROM at the same time. You can even add compression along the SI or support the QL. Adapt the massage to what your client's needs are.

One position, two things happening: the low back gets space, the spine gets movement through it. You don't need three separate techniques for this. You need one setup done right.

If your client's calves are tight, the ankle can't bend forward the way it should.
So every step, squat, and stair gets pushed up into the knee, or down into the heel and the bottom of the foot. Unstable knees can lead to unstable hips..

Low back pain isn't always a low back problem.

Sometimes the spine just needs space. This decompression takes pressure off the low back using your body weight and positioning, not your hands.

Your client feels the release. Your thumbs stay out of it.
Let leverage do the work that force can't.

Tight hips aren't always a muscle problem.
Sometimes the joint just hasn't moved through its full range in a long time.
This movement takes the hip through flexion and rotation using your body weight and positioning, not your thumbs.

Your client gets more range.
Your hands get a break.
Let movement do the work that force can't.
