Magic does not always require ingredients.

Sometimes the oldest altar is the earth beneath your feet, the simplest wand is your hand, and the only spell you need is the one spoken with intention.

We are coming to the threshold of the year when summer begins to fade and autumn quietly steps forward.

The days are getting shorter
The nights are getting longer.
With the Autumn Equinox arriving tomorrow light and darkness will stand nearly equal.

You don’t need any fancy tools to honor this turning, the only thing you need is yourself and your intention.

Go outside if you can and stand with both feet firmly on the earth and look upwards to the sky.

Take a slow breath in, raise your hands to the sky and say:
“I give thanks for what has grown over the summer season.”

Now bring your hands to your heart and say: “I keep what has nurtured me.”

Lower your hands toward the earth and say: “I release what has ended this season.”

Now imagine whatever has become heavy, stagnant, or unnecessary simply falling away like the autumn leaves.

Take one deep breath and say:
“As the wheel turns, I welcome the new season before me.
May I live in balance between light and shadow.
May I hold gratitude for what has been and let there be room for what is yet to come.”

🍁 Blessed turning of the season, witches. 🍁
