Truth and Reconciliation begins with listening and learning—not just on one specific date, but every single day.
A few days ago, Shelley and Monika from our Campbell River team were honored to attend the National Truth and Reconciliation Day gathering hosted by the Laichwiltach Family Life Society at the Big House.
Being part of this gathering in our community was a powerful reminder of the importance of remembrance, healing, and listening to the voices and lived experiences of Indigenous peoples.
We wear orange to honor the survivors, their families, and the children who never made it home. We stand with our community today and commit to continuous learning every day after.
