It's just about that time of year again! 🎒

As you prepare to get your little ones ready for back to school this September, keep these backpack tips in mind!✏️

- Choose the right backpack, not just the coolest one!
- The right size backpack sits roughly 5-8cm below the waist
- Bags with extra padding and a waist or chest strap help to distribute weight more evenly
- Pack the heaviest items closer to the back, keep the straps tightened, and make sure your kiddos are using both straps!

Have you been considering booking a Chiropractic Assessment, but aren't too sure what to expect? 😫

➡️ Dr. Sarah is our Chiropractor here at South Shore Chiropractic. A typical new patient assessment at our clinic is a 40 minute appointment.

➡️ During this visit Dr. Sarah will review your complete medical and case history to get to the root of your problem. You can also expect to have a physical examination which may include functional examinations, orthopedic and neurological testing.

➡️ Dr. Sarah will then discuss your diagnosis and create a treatment plan that is tailored to fit your individual needs - no one size fits all kind of care.

➡️ If appropriate, this appointment will also include your first Chiropractic treatment, and referrals if needed!

Check out these before and after photos!!!

This patient has been experiencing Diabetic Neuropathy, a condition common in diabetics that causes numbness and loss of sensation in the feet - often resulting in ulcers.

She has been getting Low Level Laser Therapy with the BIOFLEX system. The first photo is before starting treatment, and the second photo is after 1 month of regular weekly visits. After 2 months of using the Laser, she reports that she is beginning to regain feeling and warmth in her feet again!

Laser can be used for more than just muscular injuries & arthritis. It works wonders on wound healing and neuropathies too! Book an assessment with Dr. Sarah to get started on the laser
