New staff Alert!!
A prairie boy with mountain roots is joining our team!
Meet James Dueck, the Manual Osteopathic Therapist joining Creekside Physiotherapy and Kootenay Therapy Center this November.

James comes to us from Moose Jaw, where he moved to be closer to family after completing his massage therapy training. He later graduated with honours and distinction from the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada.
With a particular interest in persistent pain and headaches, James takes a whole-person approach to care. He looks beyond the spot that hurts, explains
his approach, and welcomes plenty of questions. His easygoing personality and sense of humour help make the treatment room a comfortable place to be.

Outside the clinic, James loves travel and outdoor adventures—from hiking to hot springs with his brother to exploring Mexico. Born in Canmore and raised in
Altona, Manitoba, he’s looking forward to making the mountains home again and getting out on the trails and slopes.

Join us in welcoming James to the Kootenays! Stay tuned for booking details.

✨ Did you know physiotherapy can support lactation and chest/breastfeeding? Feeding shouldn’t be painful — and you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Courtney has recently completed 95 hours of continuing education in lactation and chest/breastfeeding, allowing her to provide evidence‑informed support for parents experiencing pain, latch challenges, or difficulty finding comfortable feeding positions.

Courtney is trained in perinatal and lactation‑related care to help support parent and infant:
• Pain from mastitis or blocked ducts
• Improving latch mechanics to reduce ni**le pain
• Comfortable, sustainable feeding positions for both you and baby
• Posture and body mechanics to ease neck, shoulder, and back strain
If feeding feels harder than it should, support exists. You deserve comfort and confidence as you care for yourself and your baby .
📞 To connect with Courtney for lactation or pelvic health physiotherapy, please call the clinic to book. We’re here to support you through every stage of your postpartum journey.
