Back in the day, after my mum finished braiding my hair she would do this- 💆‍♀️ and lately we do that for some of our clients at the salon (with their permission of course).

While we braid our client comfortably and with very minimal tension, Using a warm towel on the scalp after braiding helps reduce root stiffness, soothe the scalp, and polish the appearance of the style.
