Sometimes the most healing thing you can do is slow down.
We live in a world that constantly asks us to do more, be more, and push harder.

But healing doesn’t always happen through effort.

Sometimes healing happens when your body finally feels safe enough to rest.

In a restorative session, we use supportive props, gentle positioning, breath, and stillness to help calm the nervous system, release tension, and create space for your body to do what it was designed to do, heal.

If you’ve been feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, or simply disconnected from yourself, restorative work can be a beautiful place to begin.

You don’t need to be flexible.

There is nothing I love more than supporting people on their healing journey. 💜

This work is so much more than a career to me—it's a passion.

I'm deeply passionate about helping people release what they've been carrying, not only physically, but emotionally and energetically too.

Our bodies hold so much.

Stress.
Tension.
Trauma.
Protective patterns.
Emotions we've never had the chance to process.

Sometimes those experiences show up as tight shoulders, aching hips, persistent pain, fatigue, or the feeling that you've become disconnected from yourself.

My intention is to create a space where your body feels safe enough to soften, release, and reconnect.

Every session is unique because every person is unique.

I am currently apprenticing in Connected Movement Therapy with Joelle McDonald with Inner Peace Yoga.

Using a blend of Connected Movement Therapy, hands-on therapeutic work, nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, EFT tapping, and Reiki energy healing. I meet you where you are and support your body's own healing process.

I don't believe healing is about forcing change.

I believe it's about listening with compassion, understanding what your body has been communicating, and gently supporting it back toward balance.

🌿 THE SCM: WHEN YOUR NECK ISN’T JUST ABOUT YOUR NECK 🌿

Have you ever wondered why your neck and shoulders can feel so tight, even when you haven’t done anything obvious to cause it?

One place we may look at is the sternocleidomastoid (SCM) — the long muscle that runs along the front and side of your neck.

The SCM doesn’t work in isolation.

It’s involved in the movement and positioning of your head and neck, and works as part of a larger system that includes your shoulders, chest, spine, pelvis, and breathing patterns.

So when we gently release or work with the SCM, we’re not simply focusing on the place that feels tight.

We look at the whole-body pattern and ask:

✨ What may be contributing to this tension?
✨ How is the body compensating?
✨ What happens when we create more space and ease?

This is one of the things I love about Connected Movement Therapy — looking beyond the obvious and listening to what the whole body is communicating.

Through my apprenticeship with Joelle at Inner Peace Yoga, I’m continuing to deepen my understanding of these connections and how gentle, supportive work can create more awareness and ease.

Sometimes we carry so much for others that we lose touch with what we need.
