Another amazing Support Local Showcase event last night! Thank you to MortgageMatt for creating this community focused gathering.
In addition to hearing from our members, we also got to hear from The Salvation Army Ontario who in addition to church services support the community with food drives, fundraising campaigns, day programs and so much more. We also heard from The Denise House who offer both emergency shelter needs and outreach programs to support women experiencing IPV.

A home can be familiar, loved, and full of memories — and still become harder to navigate over time.

Perhaps the laundry is downstairs. The favourite chair is too low to get out of comfortably. The front step has become more challenging. Or the bathroom requires more effort than it used to.

These aren't necessarily reasons to leave home. They're opportunities to look at the environment differently.

Aging-in-place planning considers how everyday spaces can better support changing abilities, routines, and preferences.

The best time to explore possible changes is often before they become urgent.

What part of your home would be the hardest to manage if your mobility changed tomorrow?
