🪶❤️ WOW! My heart is so FULL! 🥹

Yesterday at IMEX in Las Vegas, a lovely lady shared a beautiful story with me.

Last year, she created a medicine bag during one of our Dragonfly Spirit CreeAtions experiences. She took it home and gifted it to her pregnant sister.

Her sister wore that medicine bag during the final stages of her pregnancy and even into the delivery room as she welcomed her baby into this world. ❤️

WOW! I was speechless… yes, ME! 😂

Knowing that our little creation, made with love and intention, brought comfort, hope, and grounding to someone during such a special moment truly touched my heart.

This is why I love sharing my Cree culture and teachings. 🪶❤️

Sometimes the smallest experiences leave the biggest footprints on someone’s heart.

Last day at IMEX… I wonder what other beautiful stories are waiting for me! ✨🥰

Oh my goodness… my heart is so FULL! 💜🪶

Sometimes the most beautiful gifts we receive aren’t things at all. They’re the stories people share with us. 🥰

Yesterday at IMEX in Las Vegas, a lovely lady came up to me and told me she had participated in our medicine bag creation experience last year.

She shared that she loved making her medicine bag so much that she took it home and gifted it to her sister, who was expecting a baby.

Well, here’s the part that brought tears to my eyes. ❤️

Her sister wore that medicine bag during the final stages of her pregnancy and even took it into the delivery room when she welcomed her beautiful baby into the world.

WOW! WOW! WOW! 🥹❤️

I was speechless! Yes, ME… speechless! 😂 For those who know me, you know how rare that is!

To think that a little medicine bag created with love and intention here in Las Vegas travelled home and became something so meaningful to another family.

Something that brought comfort, strength, hope, and grounding during one of life’s most beautiful moments.

This is why I do what I do. 🪶

My intention has always been to bring healing, love, and kindness to my family, friends, and community. Through Dragonfly Spirit CreeAtions, I get to share a little piece of my Cree culture and teachings with people from all walks of life.

Sometimes those teachings travel much further than we could ever imagine. ❤️

We don’t always get to see the difference we make in someone’s life, so when a beautiful story like this comes back to us, it’s truly a gift.

As I head into my last day at IMEX, I’m feeling so incredibly grateful.

I wonder what other stories I’ll hear, who I’ll meet, and what little messages the universe has waiting for me today. ✨

One small creation. One beautiful connection. One story that will stay in my heart forever. ❤️🪶

✨ Hello Las Vegas! This Canadian girl is feeling pretty welcome! 🇨🇦❤️🇺🇸

One of my favourite things about travelling is meeting people, hearing their stories, and getting a feel for the places we visit. ❤️

Our Vegas adventure started with the sweetest older lady driving our taxi. She was so excited to welcome us Canadians, saying “We missed you!” 🇨🇦 We chatted about tourism, politics, and all the construction happening in Vegas. Sound familiar? 😂🚧

Then we arrived at Mandalay Bay, where the hospitality continued!

Our front desk gentleman, Michael Jordan (yes, really! 🏀😂), worked his magic and combined our two reservations so we wouldn’t have to change rooms during our stay. SCORE! 🎉

Then he asked, “What kind of view would you like?”

Such a simple question, but WOW, what a lovely touch! He shared restaurant and show recommendations and genuinely made us feel welcome.

Our gorgeous room, little jacuzzi tub, and incredible view from 20 floors up were the icing on the cake! 😍

Through Dragonfly Spirit CreeAtions, I spend so much time creating meaningful experiences for others, so I truly appreciate when someone takes those extra moments to make people feel special.

Hospitality isn’t just about what you offer. It’s about how you make people FEEL. ❤️

Thank you, Vegas, for making this Canadian girl feel so welcome!

✈️💜 Finding Beauty Along the Journey! 🪶

First leg of our Las Vegas adventure complete!

From the breathtaking Rocky Mountains 🏔️ to the beautiful Musqueam weavings at YVR, my heart is full of appreciation for Indigenous art, culture, and Mother Earth. ❤️

Now soaking up some Vancouver sunshine ☀️ while waiting for our flight to Vegas!

Sometimes the journey is just as inspiring as the destination. 💜

✈️🌿 Finding Beauty & Inspiration Along the Journey! 🪶💜

The first leg of our journey to Las Vegas is complete, and already my heart is feeling full! ❤️

As we made our way through the Vancouver International Airport (YVR), something beautiful caught my eye and made me smile.

Out of Silence — a stunning collection of four weavings created by five talented Musqueam women: Krista Point, Robyn Sparrow, Debra Sparrow, Gina Grant, and Helen Callbreath.

Four weavings. Five women. Generations of knowledge, culture, and stories woven together. 🪶

I love seeing Indigenous art celebrated in spaces where people from all over the world can experience it. A beautiful reminder that our culture, creativity, and stories are all around us, just waiting to be noticed and appreciated.

Then there were the Rocky Mountains! 🏔️💙

No matter how many times I fly over those majestic mountains, they still take my breath away. The mountains against that beautiful sky remind me just how incredible Mother Earth truly is.

It made me think about how much beauty and inspiration surrounds us every single day. Sometimes we just need to slow down long enough to notice it.

Now, as we wait for our next flight to Las Vegas, we’re sitting in the sunshine, soaking up the warmth and energy of this beautiful city. ☀️

As we continue our journey with Dragonfly Spirit CreeAtions to IMEX, I’m reminded that inspiration doesn’t always come from the destination. Sometimes it’s the little moments along the way that fill our spirits the most.

🌲🧡 Planting for the Future 🧡🌲

On Truth & Reconciliation Day, we had the opportunity to assist with planting trees — and what a beautiful afternoon it was.

With the colours of fall all around us, we spent time outdoors, slowing down, putting our hands in the earth, and doing something positive for the land and for future generations.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful helpers who took time out of their busy schedules to join us in the forest. There is something so special about coming together as a community, sharing time on the land, and leaving it a little better than we found it.

Reconciliation can happen in many ways — through listening, learning, gathering, caring for the land, and taking meaningful action together.

Grateful for the beautiful fall day, the helping hands, and the opportunity to plant something that will continue to grow long after we have left. 🌲🧡
