Indigital Media https://linktr.ee/indigitalmedia I will always be a visitor to these lands as I am Haida from the Northern coast of BC.

As the owner/operator of Indigital Media I recognize that I am operating my business on the traditional territory of the Cree people. I thank the Cree people for welcoming me as a guest.

Good day,
I want to address something before it happens:

I was hired to photograph the mini-pow wow and pageant at PrideFest, and plan to do so as planned a couple of months ago.

I see so many people, organizations, and other entities pulling their support for Pridefest, people I know, love, and respect, due to police presence and heavy corporate involvement in Pride Fest.

I am and always will be an ally to the 2SLGBTQ+ community. And I share many of the concerns expressed to date towards police involvement.

As an Indigenous person, police and RCMP have historically and presently not been kind to me and my people.

I have offered my support by way of protection to my 2SLGBTQ+ "cuzzos" and that offer still stands to this day. I will stand by your side if you need it.

I do have a business to run, and a daughter to support as well.

So while I may be offering my services to Pride Fest, the mini-pow wow and pageant, please do not take it as I'm turning my back on you.

That is the furthest from the truth.

Much love,

Damian, owner and operator of Indigital Media.

P.S.
I will punch a N**i if the opportunity arises 😉
