✨ A little appreciation post ✨

I honestly don’t even know what to say about this other than how lucky I am to have people like Charlotte in my life 🥹🤍

She showed up on Friday morning with these at my door, still warm from the oven, just so I could enjoy them for breakfast. And then she went and wrote this beautiful post about it, when really, I’m the one who should be talking about how amazing SHE is.

Charlotte is one of those people who puts so much heart into what she does, and it shows in everything she makes. The fact that she took the time to make these for me, deliver them first thing in the morning, and make me feel a piece of home is something I appreciate more than she probably knows.

Thank you, Charlotte, for the sweetest breakfast, but even more so for being the kind of person who goes out of her way to make someone else’s day. You’re a gem, and I hope you know how appreciated you are 🤍

Please go give Cookie Starts with C some love. Not just because her baking is incredible, but because there’s a genuinely beautiful person behind it 🫶🍪

Baking is so much more than producing a sweet treat. On Friday, I delivered these at 8:05am, still warm from the oven for a customer’s breakfast.

Getting to add a little sweet joy to someone’s life is so gratifying.

Now, for this particular customer, her first time having them was during Covid. Originally from Europe, she messaged to tell me that they tasted like home to her. While travel was locked down, and families were unable to be reunite across the miles, food can be a thread that connects us back home, to loved ones, to places we miss. It helped narrow the gap of the vast Atlantic ocean - at least for a moment. It’s pretty magical that way and I’m pretty blessed to be able to have a hand in that.

Thank you to all my customers & followers here for supporting me & keeping me able to create a little joy. This space really fills my cup.

🤍 HALO HEADSPA IS TURNING 2! 🤍

Two years of HALO HeadSpa. Two years of getting to do something I truly love, and I couldn’t let this milestone pass without saying a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way 🥹✨

Being the first head spa in Central Newfoundland and one of the first in the province has made this journey even more special. I’m so proud to have introduced this unique experience to our community and to see more people discovering the benefits of scalp care, relaxation, and making time for themselves 🤍
