Schools don’t always send a lice letter home when someone has lice in the school/class.
I recommend parents “take a peek once a week!”
Catching it early will save a lot of time and money.
Remind your kids how lice is spread…
It’s mostly spread from head to head contact, lice can’t jump or fly.
Main ways it spreads:
- selfies (heads touching)
- hugging
-sleep overs(sleeping in the same bed)
Other ways:
-Sharing a brush/ comb
- wearing someone’s coat, scarf or hat
-Halloween costume try on ( could be in a mask).
Keep long hair in a braid, bun or ponytail and use mint prevention spray - not Tea tree.
