Focus on Abilities Day Program Day Program for adults with a variety of developmental disabilities. We provide clients with the utmost quality of care in a safe and supportive environment.

The Focus on Abilities Day Program is Sudbury's newest day program providing exceptional day program services for adults with a range of developmental disabilities. We offer a wide range of comprehensive, individualized progamming that consists of lifeskills, health and wellness education, academics, nutritious meals, recreation, social activities and so much more. What We Offer:
Focus on Abilities Day Program offers a wide range of individualized programs that aim to help your loved one to reach, grow and maintain their full potential. Our goal is to work with you, the parents or guardians, to develop an individualized program built around the specific goals set for each individual. 📣 Notice of Temporary Program Closure 📣

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

We wanted to take a moment to let you know that the Focus on Abilities Day Program will be CLOSED on Monday, October 26, 2026, due to scheduled sewer improvements taking place in our area.
We received notice that the City has arranged for Insituform to complete necessary repairs to the sewer system. As part of this work, our sewer connection will be temporarily shut off between 10:00am and 3:00pm on the 26th, meaning we will be unable to use our water facilities or washrooms during this time.
As access to running water and functioning washrooms is essential to providing a safe and comfortable environment for the individuals we support, we unfortunately have no choice but to close the program for the day.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, when regular programming will resume.
We understand that unexpected changes to routines can be challenging for both individuals and their families, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this closure may cause. For more information regarding the sewer improvements, please feel free to go to the City of Greater Sudbury website, or call 311. We truly appreciate your patience, flexibility, and understanding with this unforeseen circumstance.

Thank you once again to everyone at Northern Legacy Horse Farm for hosting us and our friends at My Center My Community for another amazing horse farm visit! We had an amazing day visiting with all of the horses and donkeys and having the opportunity to feed them, interact with them, and learn all about them. We always have such an incredible time and could not be more grateful for the amazing opportunity! What a wonderful day full of so many smiles and laughter! 🥰 🐴 🫏 🥕
