Baked Bean Recipe
Soak 2 cups of beans (I used Jacobs Cattle) over night. Cover with enough water to have 2" over water over top of the beans to allow the beans to expand.
Next day, boil the beans until the skins burst on them when you lightly blow on them.
Sauce:
1/2 cup molasses
1tbsp brown sugar
1tsp dry mustard
1/4 cup ketchup
add a whole onion and lay bacon on top. Cook in oven 2-3hours at 300degrees, check often to ensure the beans are not boiling dry. Add water if required.
