A sweet little update for my clients & healthcare community:

On November 18th we welcomed our precious Oliver Ewen into the world 🩵 Becoming a mama has changed me forever & has given me a whole new perspective on health, life, & love. I’m missing being in the clinic but for now I’ll keep soaking up all the newborn snuggles I can - I hear this time goes by fast 🥹🥰

An update for my sweet clients & healthcare community:

As of the end of day today, my osteo schedule will be closing. I am being put off work, a bit earlier than expected, by recommendation from my OBs for the remainder of my pregnancy. Our little squish is perfectly healthy but smaller, so we have made this decision to give him the best shot at arriving earth-side safely & healthily at the end of November/early December.
•
At this point, I plan to take a year off on maternity leave but will update through this page if that should change 😊 I sincerely thank all the wonderful people who have referred to me, booked with me, & helped me get my osteo career off to a wonderful start over these past few months. The past year has been a whirlwind but I’m beyond excited to return back to clinic in a little while with a new title added behind my name: MAMA 🤍

Happy Sunday to everyone! Starting tomorrow, I’ll be doing some part-time coverage at a clinic in Halifax for an Osteopath going on leave for 6 weeks. During this time, my schedule in Fall River will be:

• Tuesdays & Thursdays: 2-8pm
• Wednesday: 8-12pm
• Friday: 8-2pm

Although my time in Fall River will be slightly reduced, I do have quite a bit of flexibility to ensure current & new clients are able to get into my schedule when they need to 🥰

It’s a beautiful day to help some hips! 🦵

Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of people in the clinic complaining of pelvis or hip pain. A lot of the time it’s happening because we all just SIT TOO MUCH 🤌🏻

Osteopathy can help mobilize the pelvis & hip joints, release the soft tissue around the area, & help clients improve their overall alignment through subtle postural corrections. Pelvic & hip issues can be a pain in the butt, LITERALLY, so don’t hesitate to contact me if yours needs some TLC! ✨✌🏻

Since I have some new followers around here, I figured I’d re-introduce myself!

I’m Kaitlin, a recent manual osteopathy graduate from the Canadian College of Osteopathy (a 5 year program, *phew*😮‍💨). Prior to osteopathy, I graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in Human Kinetics. It’s safe to say that I’m a sucker for punishment, after 9 years of post-secondary schooling 🤯

I’ve always had a deep interest & passion for holistic wellness & I’m so grateful I get to connect with the body & health in such an impactful way. I grew up in Whitehorse, Yukon & later moved to Regina, Saskatchewan where I scooped up my life partner, Nick. 7 years later, we moved to Nova Scotia where we now live with our sweet golden retriever, Lennon, & kitten, Lucy. Some fun facts about me: I can play several different instruments & if I don’t know how to play it, I can usually figure it out; I’m the oldest sister of 3 girls; I’m addicted to coffee & just can’t kick it, nor do I want to 😅

FYI‼️ Most people have osteopathy coverage through their private medical insurance & don't even know it! Osteopathic treatment can be billed through your private insurance & can even be covered through a motor vehicle accident claim, LTD, & by Veteran's Affairs. Oftentimes insurance companies require members to pay upfront for these services & self-submit.
