September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We honour the children who never returned home, the survivors, and their families. Learning the truth is the first step toward true reconciliation.

In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we will be operating at reduced hours. Our front store and our pharmacy will be open 12pm to 5pm. Our primary care clinic will be closed.

❗You may have heard that two walk-in clinics are closing soon in HRM. Boyd's Pharmasave offers the entire suite of clinical services as part of the Community Pharmacy Primary Care Clinic model.

📅 Booking an appointment is simple and straightforward:
- Visit www.boydspharmasave.ca and choose "Book and Appointment". Follow the prompts and complete any intake forms that may be required.
- Or call us at 902-417-2088.

✨ We offer a number of clinical services, including:
- Prescription renewals (including medication for the treatment of ADHD)
- Prescription adaptations and substitutions
- Treatment of common conditions and infections (including pink eye, bladder infections, Lyme, shingles, mild skin infections, sore throat and many others)
- Bloom Program (support with mental health and addictions)
- Sexual Health and Gender Health (including contraception, HIV PrEP, injections, and more)
- Vaccinations and other medication injection services

💗 Our pharmacy team is well equipped to support you whether you have a primary care provider or not, and is eager to work collaboratively with those already in your circle of care.

🪧 Limitations do apply to the scope of pharmacy professionals, and we will do our best to refer you to other providers as necessary.

💵 Services are covered through MSI and require a non-expired Nova Scotia Health Card. Fees may apply for those without a Nova Scotia Health Card.

✨HRT INJECTION SUPPLIES✨

Due to rising supply costs, we are now charging a small fee for HRT injection kits. These kits will be sold for $5 each and will provide 3 months worth of injection supplies. The $5 charge is simply to help with covering costs.

Boyd's Pharmasave, your locally owned, community pharmacy, is looking for a passionate and dedicated pharmacist to join our team. We are committed to building strong relationships with our patients and advocating for improved healthcare, especially for marginalized communities. If you are excited about making a real impact in patients' lives by providing enhanced clinical services, including sexual health, gender-affirming care, and opioid-use disorder support, then we want to hear from you.

This position is 35 hours per week with no evenings past 6pm and shared weekend shifts.
