Something I keep coming back to in my work is this: We don't have to shame ourselves into changing.

It's easy to look at a habit, a reaction, or a decision we wish we'd made differently and turn it into a reason to criticize ourselves.

But criticism doesn't always help us understand what happened or what we might want to do differently next time.

I believe there's room to be honest about our choices while still treating ourselves with compassion. We can take responsibility without deciding that we're a failure. We can recognize a pattern without making it our identity.

That doesn't mean change is always easy, or that self-compassion answers every question. It means we can begin from a place of curiosity rather than punishment.

I'd love to know: What's something you've learned to be gentler with yourself about?

Share only what feels right for you. Sometimes even recognizing the change is enough.

When you think about joining a small gathering, what helps you feel comfortable enough to be yourself?

For some people, it's knowing what to expect before they arrive. For others, it's having permission to participate quietly, a welcoming host, or the knowledge that they won't be put on the spot.

I think these little details matter. Feeling welcome shouldn't depend on being the most outgoing person in the room.

I'm curious about your preference:

Would you rather have a little structure and guidance, or more open space to see how the gathering unfolds?

Or perhaps a mix of both?

Tell me in the comments. There isn't a right answer, and you don't have to explain your choice.

Caring about people doesn't mean you have to hold every responsibility, feeling, or outcome.

A small reminder for youโ€”or someone you care about. ๐Ÿ’œ

Hello beautiful souls. ๐Ÿ’œ

Can we talk about how hard it can be to ask for support?

Sometimes we tell ourselves we should be able to handle everything. Sometimes we're so used to being the dependable one that we don't even know how to explain what we need. And sometimes, we don't ask because we're worried we won't have the right words.

I don't believe you need to wait until everything feels unmanageable before you deserve a little support.

I'm curious: What tends to make asking for help difficult for you?

Is it wanting to figure things out on your own, not wanting to burden anyone, not knowing where to start, or something else entirely?

Share only what feels comfortable. You don't owe anyone a personal story to take part in this conversation.

I've been thinking about the word "thriving" lately.

It's easy to picture thriving as having everything figured out, being happy all the time, reaching every goal or finally becoming the person we think we should be.

But I don't think thriving has to look like that.

Sometimes it looks like waking up with something you're genuinely looking forward to.

Sometimes it means saying no without spending the rest of the day feeling guilty.

Sometimes it means noticing you're overwhelmed and giving yourself permission to ask for support rather than pushing through.

It might look like choosing relationships that feel nourishing, making time for something you enjoy, or feeling a little more connected to yourself than you did a few months ago.

Thriving doesn't mean life stops being difficult. It means we're building a relationship with ourselves that can help us meet life more intentionally.

That's a big part of why I do this work through Rising Phoenix. I want people to have room to understand their patterns, reconnect with themselves, and discover what a fuller life could look like for them โ€” not someone else's version of success.

So I'm curious: when you hear the word โ€œthriving,โ€ what does it mean to you personally?

Not the picture-perfect version. The real-life version.

I'd love to read your thoughts. ๐Ÿ’œ

Sometimes you want to talk things through. Sometimes you want quiet. Sometimes you're not entirely sure what you need โ€” only that something feels out of balance and you'd like a little support.

That's one of the reasons I offer the Integrated Wellness Session at Rising Phoenix.

Rather than focusing on one modality alone, this 90-minute session allows us to consider what would be most useful for you on that particular day.

Depending on your needs and preferences, we may combine holistic wellness coaching with practices such as Reiki, guided meditation, breathwork or sound.

We might explore a recurring pattern, reflect on what matters to you, or make space for a grounding practice. The session is guided by conversation, your preferences and the tools I'm trained to offer โ€” not a rigid formula.

This isn't about trying to do everything in one appointment. It's about choosing thoughtfully and making room for what feels appropriate.

Integrated Wellness Session

* 90 minutes
* $130
* A personalized combination of coaching and complementary wellness practices

I also offer standalone sessions if you already know what you're looking for:

* Reiki โ€” 60 minutes, $90
* Breathwork โ€” 60 minutes, $90
* Guided meditation โ€” 60 minutes, $60
* Holistic wellness coaching โ€” 75 minutes, $100

If you're unsure which option would suit you, you can send me a message and ask questions before booking.

You don't have to figure it all out on your own. ๐Ÿ’œ

If your mind has been running ahead of you lately, here's a small practice you can try without needing to set aside a whole hour.

It's not about forcing yourself to relax or making every uncomfortable feeling disappear. It's simply an opportunity to pause and notice the present moment.

Try this gentle 60-second grounding practice:

๐ŸŒฟ 1. Look around.*Let your eyes move slowly around the room. Notice a few things you can see.

๐ŸŒฟ 2. Feel your support. Notice your feet on the floor, your back against a chair, or the surface beneath your hands.

๐ŸŒฟ 3. Notice one sound. It might be a fan, a bird outside, traffic in the distance, or the sound of your own breathing.

๐ŸŒฟ 4. Ask yourself: โ€œWhat do I need in this moment?โ€

You don't have to come up with a big answer. Maybe it's a drink of water, a stretch, a little quiet, or asking someone for help.

And if focusing inward or on your breathing feels uncomfortable, keep your eyes open and focus on the room around you instead. You can stop whenever you need to.

Sometimes reconnecting with ourselves begins with one small moment of noticing.

If you try it, I'd love to know: which step felt easiest for you?

Feel free to save this post or share it with someone who could use a gentle pause today. ๐Ÿ’œ
