This student joined me just over a year ago and at the time could not forward fold and was experiencing a lot of pain, some due to arthritis some due to previous injuries and possibly other reasons.

Today, as you can see, she can comfortably forward fold and do much more! Through patience, self-love and consistency she has found more comfort in her body and life. This is yoga!

Yoga is a progressive practice that is meant to meet you where you’re at and build overtime based on your needs.

In these two pictures, students are practising single leg standing at two very different levels. Same goal very different movements, as is appropriate for the person.

It is always a great honour to hold space while people feel into their bodies and open up in a restorative practice. In today’s always on culture, it’s beautiful to see people relax and release. 😇😇😇

There is class every Saturday but the last Saturday (sometimes Friday) of each month at 9:30 am is reserved for this special practice.

This weekend is the Great Hespeler Reunion!

Be warned that a parade is planned to be passing our studio at 10:30 am, just as morning class is about to finish. To avoid being stuck in our lot, it is recommended that you park on Winston and can cross by foot to the studio.

Cheers! 🍻
