Winter Session applications are now open!

Our Winter Session kicks off in January 2027, and we want to make sure everyone interested has a spot. If you or someone you know has been thinking about joining our therapeutic riding program, now is the time to get your application in.

Applications are due by the end of November, so don’t wait too long. Spots are limited, and we want to make sure every rider has the time they need to get set up properly.

Our program serves children and adults and offers so much more than riding. It is about building confidence, connection, and community in a safe and supportive environment.

A sweet addition to our Trivia Throwdown prize table!

We are so grateful to Lions Head Meadery for donating honey and mead for our upcoming fundraiser on Thursday, November 5 at the Delta Hotel in Kamloops. And the best part? They are just down the road from us here at KTRA!

Meet Kassia’s version of Piper.

After her very first lesson, Kassia went home and built this little masterpiece out of popsicle sticks. We think she nailed it.

This is exactly the kind of thing that reminds us why we do what we do. When a child connects so deeply with a horse that they go home and recreate her from craft supplies, something really special is happening.

Yesterday, we were honoured to partner with Kamloops Hospice for their annual camp for kids who have experienced loss in their families.

The arena was set, the horses were ready, and the magic happened.

There's something truly special about what happens when a child finds peace in the presence of a horse. It's more than riding -- it's healing.

Thank you to the Kamloops Hospice for trusting us with these incredible kids. 💛
